MAKE THEM SIGN AN DETAILED AGREEMENT IN WRITING. MAYBE EVEN HAVE IT NOTARIZED, IF YOU HAVE TO GO TO COURT WHEN THEY TRY THEIR BEST TO RIP YOU OFF. After the insurance company agreed on repairing the obvious damages that could be seen, they said if the repair shop found other issues, that would be taken care of also, after the repair shop sent the list of unseen damages. redline said the same thing. They told us they would check all the vehicle inside and out, making sure everything was in working condition. They told us we just needed touch up paint in certain areas, they would do that. They said they would check things we found ourselves, and told them about, like the washer fluid had a leak it didn't have prior. After picking up our vehicle, our a/c system doesn't work, and some other other things are out of wack. During our talks with redline, they verbally acknowledged, that they would check "EVERYTHING". All the verbal conversations meant nothing at all, except lies. They didn't even touch up the paint in the areas they told us they would. WE WILL NEVER UTILIZE "redline finishing", if we have any repairs for anything ever again. We have unkind names for people like redline - but, we will refrain from using them in this conversation. Our vehicle doesn't even drive the same anymore.

Zachary at the front desk noticed it immediately as I drove in, which I appreciated because it meant I didn't have to try to explain the issue. He explained that the underbody shield sometimes attaches to the bumper and that if the mounting points are damaged, the bumper can occasionally need replacement. He gave me rough estimates - around $330 if it was just the underbelly piece, and roughly $2,000 combined if the bumper also needed replacement. I appreciated the transparency about the potential range of outcomes. Even though they didn't have the replacement part in stock, Zachary checked with the technicians in the back and had someone come take a look. They ended up patching the panel so it would stop scraping and be safe to drive, and they did the quick fix at no charge. Overall it was a helpful experience. They took a moment to help me out even though it wasn't a full repair job that day, and the staff was straightforward about what the possible repairs might involve.
