Jen greeted us immediately when my husband and I entered the store. She helped us find the boots he had previously purchased via the computer then showed us exactly where they are in the store. These other reviews must not know how a small town family business runs. IT'S NOT LULULEMON PEOPLE. and you can't expect it to run like some store at the mall. Poor customer service and they find any any excuse for not accepting returning for wrong size

While trying to find a place to eat the subway that I just purchased, I noticed a store that looked like it was closed because no one was in the parking lot. I parked my car and began to eat my sandwich when, out of nowhere, a slightly crazed-looking man came out of the building to swear at us and tell us to "get the fuck out of his parking lot". He also made a point to mention that he pays $10,000 a year for the parking lot, but unfortunately it doesn't seem like the business is doing well despite all the money that he's putting into it. I go through about 3 pairs of work boots per year. I always drove by Jack's but never stopped so I figured I'd give it a try. Upon walking in, I was taken aback by the way the store looked inside. I was picturing something way more nice and inviting based on all the hype. You can tell the owner does not reinvest much into his store. We were barely greeted by the 2 people working the register as all they seemed to want to do was look at their phones. I politely asked if they could show me where the western work boots are. The girl just pointed toward a corner of the store. I guess this was about the extent of the customer service I would receive during my visit. I looked around and located a pair of boots that I liked. I took them to the register and the workers made a huge deal that they had to tear the entire box apart to make sure I wasn't trying to smuggle other items out with my boots. This was the final straw for me. Nothing like giving horrible customer service to begin with and then to top it off with making them feel like a criminal. If you couldn't trust me to browse the store honestly, then maybe instead of standing at the register playing on your phones you could have been walking through the store showing me boots that fit the description of what I was looking for. I've never stolen anything in my life so to be treated that way was appalling. Needless to say, I will not be patronizing this business again. read more
