If I could give negative stars, I would. The store itself is cute, and they carry my favorite brand of shoes. The manager, which then we found out is the owner, is an absolute wreck of a person. HORRIBLE customer service and she truly cannot be bothered to help customers that WANT to buy her store products. I feel awful for the poor associates that have to work with her. I was in the store shopping for clothes, and gifts for family's. Then as we're looking the lady comes to us a basically calls us broke and to leave. I never felt so disrespect, they made me fell heartbroken. For people going to shop, the young teenagers are bratty and rude. read more

Great service and excellent selection of men's upscale clothing. Staff was very helpful and Rhonda went way out of her way to accommodate me in finding the right pants for me. Not very impressed, while visiting Texas we decided to go to this store .... My son was so excited! Shortly after we walked in a dog came by to greet us. My little boy was so thrilled. We got down low and we were told "he's not comfortable, he's a a therapy dog!" I've never met a dog that's not comfortable around attention! We walked away thinking... Not much of a therapy dog if he can't be around attention, alright, whatever. What I can't feeling not so good about is the woman that was in there, not very much of a costumer service kinda gal! Rude and not very nice at all! I wouldn't spend a penny in this store! Not impressed whatsoever! How does a place like this stay in business. Petco is the way to go or anything but this place! I was not overly impressed by Jack's but then again I am not the kind of guy to drop $200 on a shirt. Jack's offers high end clothing and given the area they cater well to their targeted clientele. One thing that I found pretty neat is that they have a dog section with some neat nick knacks and dog accessories. Also, they do offer both men and women's clothing. read more

Looked at the website to see what kind of products they had and it was the worst website design I have ever seen. I clicked on the dog section, because I have a dog and all it says is the store is named after the owners dog. And the pictures on there were just pictures of the store. Not even dog products. I was planning to go shop there for some clothes or maybe some dog toys or bed, but decided not to I got so turned off by the website. read more

I love this store! I am new to the area and I was delighted to find a "go to" for gift buying! (sometimes the gifts are for me!) They have an amazing variety of things... clothes, shoes, purses, home decor, candles, jewelry and best of all... tons of boutique style dog items! The clothing is high quality as well as the shoes. They carry some name brands that I haven't been able to find here in TX so I am a happy girl! The staff is always friendly and eager to help you find whatever it is that fits your fancy :) Every now and then when I go in "JACK" himself (a beautiful yellow lab) has been there wandering about greeting his customers. OK, long review. I am an employee at another store in the Shops at Highland Village, actually, one in the same corner as Jack's, and I had heard that they do discounts for other employees of the Shops. So, I go up to the counter to pay for my $20 purse, and asked if they do the discount. The cashier, who was very sweet, asked the manager/owner, and the manager immediately asked me where I worked and I told her, but she seemed a bit skeptical. She told the cashier to give me a 15% discount. I leave the store and grab my sister so she can come check out the store, as well. She is interested in a purse very similar to the one I just purchased and she carries it around while we continue to browse. The owner follows us in the store and never looks away from us. The owner then asks in a very demeaning manner, "Is that the one you already bought or is she getting that???" No "excuse me" or anything. I tell her that my sister is purchasing it after we get done looking. The owner tells us that she will keep it behind the counter and grabs the purse from my sister. Then, the owner comes back up to me with a notepad in her hand and asks for my first and last name. I tell her and I ask why she needed my name. She told me so she could verify my employment at the place I work and then she asked for my workplace's phone number. I tell her I don't know it off of the top of my head, but I can take her to my store. After I said this, I didn't think she would agree or find it necessary to have me escort her to my store, but she did. I marched into my workplace, and she slowly trailed behind. She then asks my co-worker if she could "verify my employment". Well, we had already walked over there, so I got my manager to "verify my employment", as well. I have never felt so disrespected and humiliated while shopping. I understand that other customers had probably taken advantage of this 15% discount by lying about their employment in the Shops. And if I had been asked at the time of purchase to call to verify my employment, I would have happily obliged because I know people can be deceitful from my 5+ years of experience in customer service. But to approach me after I had already made a purchase, left the store, and brought back another guest is an awful way to "deal" with a customer. ESPECIALLY when I have personally spoken and interacted with this owner in MY workplace multiple times. Even the cashier apologized for her manager's behavior. I don't care how cute the merchandise is, I will NEVER shop or recommend Jack's Outfitter's to anyone simply because of this owner's unprofessionalism and rudeness. She does not deserve my business. read more

If there were an option to choose 0 stars, I would. This store is awful. DO NOT SHOP HERE. I have never had such a bad experience in a clothing store than I did here. the owner is just ridiculous, and so rude. She was so disrespectful to my family. Any store that has signs on every merchandise reading "Do not touch" is ridiculous. How else do you expect me to shop?? HORRIBLE i love the clothes... but the boss' service is horrible just rude. it is over priced and the boss just needs an attitude change. A necklace i purchased broke and it has taken 6 weeks to come in (still has not arrived) ... they told me it would only take one week and its week 6 and i haven't even been notified about it since. The boss also told an employ to "nip it" when talking about me and a friends presence in the store. I WILL NEVER GO BACK because of how rude the boss was. very unprofessional. I believe that the boss needs to learn alittle about trying to be nicer to the people who are putting food on her table read more
