I have shopped at Kohl's for many years and they have always honored a seven day grace period for the Kohl's cash. When I walked into the store, I went straight to the service center counter and asked if they would honor it and I was told yes. I went and gathered some items and went to the front to use my Kohl's cash where I was then told that they would not honor it. The lady who had told me they would was standing right next to us and didn't say a word. This was the whole reason I asked first when I walked in the store. She was standing right next to us when all of this unfolded and didn't say a word. Such a lack of dignity. I've never had a problem at Kohl's until now. If they would've told me no from the beginning, then I would've said thank you and left the store instead of wasting my time. Very disappointed.

The manager, Cynthia Westbrook told me she would not return the pair that I washed because she could not put them back on the sales floor. I told her she needed to damage them out because they stink! She refused to smell them and said no. I repeated again, they stink and no one needs to purchase them, they are damaged. Finally, she said she will return them this time but never again! I told her, don't worry because I will never purchase anything in this store ever again, especially since the jeans I bought stunk so bad. I was so disappointed and embarrassed.

My boyfriend and I came in to look around and get him so nice shirts for work since it's his…read morebirthday and I wanted to treat him but we left a couple minutes after entering as the employees were acting very strange and gave us the vibe that they were watching closely and just plain rude. As soon as we walked in the guy worker asked if we needed help with anything we said no because we just wanted to look and then acted really weird and the girl next to him was giving weird looks. Then we started looking around and ended up at the back of the store and this random worker all of the sudden is watching us and refolding the same pair of pants then we move to another side because she was weirding us out then starts following us again. We decide to leave and go somewhere else since they made us feel very uncomfortable. As we were leaving it seemed like people were guarding the door almost. We have never ever been treated like that and felt like we couldn't even just look around. All my boyfriend wanted was to replace the shirts he's gotten here before but now will find somewhere else. I am truly disgusted. I know I wasn't dressed the nicest today but I just didn't have any laundry done within the past couple of weeks so I wore just whatever I had. It's a shame as we really wanted to buy some stuff but refuse to give our money to people who act that way. It made us really sad because we never can afford to buy nice clothing anymore and I finally had enough saved up to treat him since he works so hard for us. Definitely discriminated against whether it was because of how we were dressed/looked or the fact that my boyfriend is hispanic. Like I said we have never been treated that way so it was really disappointing.

Found an under armor quarter zip on sale that was a good price and really cute, as well as a new yeti tumbler for work. I shopped for a good 30 minutes before checking out. Overall, it was a pleasant and peaceful shopping experience. I'm sure I'll stop in before my next lash appointment.
