The sites are large and clean. The bathrooms are also clean and while the stalls don't lock, nobody is going to barge in on you. In fact the bathrooms were empty every time I went in them. The showers were clean. The little attached gift shop has wood available for sale. And the gas station across the street has everything else you need as far as snacks and drinks. The sites themselves are large and well kept. Each has water and electricity. The dump site is by the bathrooms and unless you have no clue how to drive your rig, it's simple to use and easy to access. There's even a hose to wash off your equipment. Mike (the manager) was wonderful. Super accommodating and friendly. I was with my mom and two dogs and he was super friendly and easy to get along with. He even gave me directions to a "secret beach" across the street. I went the first night and was not disappointed!!!! I stopped at Hidden Pines because of road exhaustion. I needed a place to rest and recuperate. After staying two nights I asked what the rate was for 1 month. Several negative things happened right away. First, Mike, the proprietor, tricked me into paying him $2000 for the month using his flim-flam kind of talk meant to confuse. (That's higher by hundreds of dollars than all other campgrounds nearby.) I was very confused but signed the credit card slip just before I saw the amount. I thought he had just a minute before told me it would be a lot less than that. This was upsetting but it was my fault for being easily fooled and overly tired. Next, he tells me he is going to scrutinize my life to find out anything bad in my past. I told him to go right ahead and that he is wasting his time. Furthermore, this is absurd since I'm an 80 year old woman who appears neat and clean and I drive a newer top flight RV. A short time later, having settled in my space, I am taking a garbage bag out to the trash can, he swoops in with his car as though he had been waiting for me, and demands I give him my garbage bag. I refused. He insisted several times, I refused several times but I finally gave it to him with a bad feeling about it. This particular trespass really upset me. After that he left me pretty much alone except for stressing the many rules I must follow, and messing with my WiFi connection. I believe he continually blocked my VPN in order to spy on me. I had to leave the property to reestablish the VPN then return to my campsite. This happened many times. I resorted to turning my phone off for the most part while in that campground. Finally toward the end of my stay, Mike offered me a trailer. That afternoon he gave me a tour of this trailer which he said he would let me rent for $2000 a month along with a place to park my RV. I entertained the possibility at first but awakened at 3 AM realizing the trailer was too depressing on the inside to even consider. I called him in the morning and told him I wasn't interested and why. Suddenly, he switched from being "nice Mike" to being very angry Mike. As he tried to collect himself, he told me "meet me at noon. You have mail down here." I knew I didn't have any mail. I went there anyway at 12:15 against my better judgment. I tried the front door, but it was locked. Up drives a car paralleling mine with a woman claiming to be Mike's wife. I didn't think she was his wife though. She said Mike will be right down and for me to wait for him. After a few minutes, I walked over to her car and told her I'm leaving. I started my car and began to drive toward the exit. She pulled her car in front of mine so I couldn't leave. I backed my RV up to access the other way out when Mike drives up behind me as if to block me in so it seemed. The hair on the back of my neck was tingling. I was able to get out of there though. I still wonder what they had in mind. Were they going to try to charge me for the trailer that we had never contracted for and claim verbal agreement? Who knows? It was a strange month and completely absurd at the end. Of course he will try to discredit this account of what happened as he does with all bad reviews. Would-be campers would do well to heed the advice in the many bad reviews.

Some problems I could see happening is it seems there is only one bathroom and shower spot that if too many people camp at once could be a problem. The roads are decent but not perfectly smooth also the site I was in some of the ground was a little hard but it's okay. Other than that, I really don't have any complaints. It's a peaceful, friendly place to camp, and I think more people would enjoy it if they gave it a chance.

For partial hook up, 10% military discount, the price was around $61, and were able to pay online. We checked in late after the office had closed where they left our site info for us. The grounds are clean, quiet and luckily we had the showers/bathrooms across from us. The showers require quarters, where if $1.25 for a 4 minute shower. Both the bathrooms and showers were well maintained and clean. We checked out in the morning. We definitely recommend and would come back when passing through.

Now we know they're owned by a local vacation rental company called Pacific Blue and you can book direct! The park is well maintained with a mix of RVs, cabins and tiny homes available for nightly rentals. The RVs are spacious floor plans to accommodate families and smaller for couples or solos, and each is set up at a campsite complete with picnic table, fire ring and full hookups. The tiny homes are quaint and complete, with everything well thought out. Ours had a lot with two twin beds, tv, and room to layout suitcases. We out a pack and play up there and still had room to spare. Downstairs was a full kitchen with oven/micro/stovetop (no dishwasher), kitchen table with bench and two seats, rolling island for additional storage, living room with full size sofa, coffee table and sitting chair, and lots of windows to bring in the scene of the harbor. natural light and bay breeze. Outside we had a gas bbq, patio furniture and communal picnic tables and seating out on the pier, which we overlooked. It was serene and exciting to watch the seals and otters at play and the boats coming in and out of the harbor day and night. The view was never boring and we enjoyed every minute. I also loved that you could see out to the ocean, which looked very peaceful and calm during our stay. Best of all, you're close to several good seafood restaurants, in the heart of the charter fishing in Fort Bragg, can crab right from the pier if youre staying on property and the owners are responsive, helpful and swift to reply. In this lovely RV park, a mix of transient and permanent residents. The park's owners are great, and they maintain the place looking great. In addition to having excellent showers, the restrooms were spotless. Beautiful scenery may be found around the rear fence. The park was busier than we'd like, but that's to be expected for an RV park; the other campers were friendly, though the weekend population was louder than usual.

In short, AVOID. 1) the owners are not only rude, but all the long term tenants (and this place is mostly people that live here full time) are scared of them. It's so weird, we had the permanent folks approach us on 3 different occasions telling us we were doing something wrong and the owners are super strict and they just don't want us getting in trouble. We got approached right when we arrived. Again the next morning. And one of them approached us again in the laundry room. We are parents of two kids, we weren't partying at all or even at the site to just sleep. So weird. 2) since it's mostly long term folks, this is their home, I get it, they don't want a bunch of vacationers ruining what they have going on, but why on earth are you even allowing people to camp for a few nights. It's crazy weird here. 3) no kids at all, nothing for kids to do. Don't come here if you want a kid friendly place. 4) your neighbors are literally a few feet away. Their picnic table is directly next to yours. 5) you have to hold your sewage connection down with a rock (I'm not kidding) 6) the people who live here full time, their dogs can bark but yours can't. I heard dogs barking constantly but we were approached by the owner after being gone for 1.5hr and she snarled and said "your dog was acting a fool" (her exact words) so we were forced to board our dogs bc their is no way our dogs won't bark when there are other dogs barking constantly a few feet away. 7) site is not nice Photos attached of our neighbors picnic table next to ours & our other neighbors on the other side of us to show how close you are. ****update in response to "business employee"**** This is by far the nicest and most respectful I have been spoken to by an employee since I arrived at the RV park. I have to wonder if they have someone managing their social media or who this person is, because they certainly weren't speaking to my family this way at the site. Also we were not offered a site in the back initially. We were told that there was a long term tenant with a skittish dog and it would not be good for us to be back there with our kids & dogs. When I brought up the space issue again after I was rudely approached and was told my "dog was acting a fool" (this is exactly how I was spoken to) she told me that there were sites in the back that did not have full hookups. This was after our first of two very uncomfortable nights there. Also - most sites there have stones over their sewage connection, so a bit surprised by their response on that topic.

We drank our morning coffee outside our 35ft travel trailer while watching the river, seeing deer, otters and seals! They have a spot to launch kayaks and canoes 45 seconds from where we were parked. The bathrooms and laundry room were clean and smelled nice. The town of Fort Bragg is so cute and has many beaches and hikes to do all while being so close to Dolphin Isle. Staying at Dolphin Isle was like a dream and I can't wait for us to return.

We ended up getting a flat tire on our class A 18K motor home on and Sunday and a all local facilities closed. The owners were gracious enough to let us stay an additional night without question, The hooks are excellent modern and great condition. We did not use the showers or flush toilets as we had our own so we can speak on them other than if you're tenting it, you have the means to those facilities. We will definitely come back and stay here as we have RV in several others and this one is by far the best. The maintenance gentleman offered us tire flat slime and an air compressor which was so amazing. He also suggested a couple of local business in town (3 miles away) for our Monday Search. KUDOS to ownership, management, staff and the beautiful Mother Nature with amazing landscape!

Although the office had closed they had easy instructions for late arrivals. I looked as the paperwork that was left for those not arrived yet to see what spots were previously reserved and found a great one with a view not taken yet. We arrived the morning after we were supposed to check in due to trailer connection issues and they waived our first night fee. Thank you guys!!
