Cute little store and lots of selections of THC products. Many I've never seen before. Nice friendly staff very knowledgeable.

I'm not a big alcohol buyer, but had a need to purchase some Prosecco to make Mimosas for a neighbor dropping by for a social distancing drink. I called ahead to confirm that Jackson Down was still offering curb-side service since I did not want to enter the store. A gentleman named Jason answered the phone. I ask about picking up two bottles of the Prosecco. He quickly told me that they were open, and I could come in the store. He then continued by telling me that he didn't know if that would qualify for the curb-site pick-up, and looked up the price which was almost $35. He then told me that was enough and to pull up front. Number one, there is nothing stating there is a dollar limit on this service. I was very offended by his whole attitude and his abusive and rude way he spoke to me. I surely don't understand this during a period of time when companies are struggling to survive. There is no place for rude employees at any company. If he is the owner; shame on him. If not, he needs to be trained on the proper way to speak to customers. I will say, the one other time I was there, both young men at the counter were friendly and helpful in every way. read more

Floor was gross the last time I was there, and they just sling out cardboard boxes of liquor with a hole cut in them instead of shelving everything. To think one of their store employees said they were "a high end store" Hermitage and Donelson deserve better. Vintage Wine & Spirits farther down Lebanon past the Walmart is worth the extra drive. read more

Everything good. Selection, staff, prices and atmosphere all on point. This is a by the book establishment, meaning you should know the laws around purchasing alcohol. Have your valid id, and be prepared to show it if you touch a bottle or give money to a friend for a bottle and use your own debit/credit card. This isn't a bad liquor store but not one of my favs. Its more so convenient in that its within walking distance from my apartment. It is higher than other liquor stores but I guess that's what you pay for convenience. I'm a drinking but not one to ask about liquor variety and what not. So can't really help with the selection aspect but the staff is nice and friendly. They smile and like to talk. I would say its a good neighborhood type spot. read more

One of the guys who works with me needed a ride home, so I dragged him all the way out to Mt Juliet. Figuring I should make the best of it, I stopped at what he referred to as 'his favorite liquor store'. I must admit, if this is his favorite, either we have wildly different tastes or he has much to learn. To begin with, the place is lit up brighter than a discount department store. Way stronger than typical liquor stores, the light felt almost oppressive. Then there was the fact that the staff barely looked up or said anything the whole time I was there. As a bonafide bourbon snob, I make certain to check out their entire collection (something I will admit did not take much time as their selection was extremely limited). Normally, someone working at a store will come by to help if I stand in the section long enough, but after a good 15 minutes of staring at the 20 or so bourbons they have, still not one. They did have the new Popcorn Sutton moonshine, so I asked one of the people behind the counter about it, but other than what was printed on the literature I had already read standing by the bourbon, he didnt have any information. To end my trip, I noticed that their Makers Mark bottles were a good $4 more than the one I had purchased just that morning. I suppose if I were looking for vodka or wine, my experience may have been better, but of all the things I like in a bourbon dispensary (aka liquor store), this place really had none read more

The wine selection has grown over the yrs due to one guy who made sure they kept up with the bigger liquor stores in Nashville. Unfortunately he is no longer there and you can tell it. There prices are higher than the larger liquor stores but if I am not driving into town I just stop there to save time and gas read more

I have been a customer for years. On 11/11/2020 I had a run in with a clerk I had never met before. Okay yes I am not a fan of the mask mandate but did have a neckerchief that I had not pulled up yet. I make sure I distance myself from others and use it if I forced to be close to someone. I saw the usual guy I know there while gathering my items and we had the normal friendly exchange. He has always been nice and recognizes me and make a point to say hi and knows I am a war vet and thanks me for my service as it is Veterans Day. At the counter there was a plastic shield and besides I was over 6 feet from the clerk behind the counter. Before anything else he demanded I put on a mask. I complied and, I admit, I grumbled about it. It went down hill from there as he became demanding. I showed him my Veteran ID for the discount as he did not know me and he then in a not so nice tone asked for my real ID. I showed him my Dr license but then he demanded I take it out of the wallet it was in. Every other place I have need to show ID I have never been required to take it out as the window allows clear view of my birthdate. He was just being a dick because I voice my opinion of the whole mask crap. He became loud and after his inappropriate action I left my items on the counter and left. Rude staff, limited selection. I just moved into the neighborhood. I stopped by one night after work. I asked one of the staff for a recommendation on rum because I don't drink hard liquor, but was having some guests for the weekend who do. He yelled across the store "it doesn't matter, pick anything". Ok. About the case of wine - I would get a discount if I had "their bags" but not the ones I brought. Ok, can I get "their bags" then? Yes, but only for the next time I stop by. Um, no thanks, I'm going to stop elsewhere from now on. read more

RUDE, RUDE, & RUDE ! ! ! And very limited selection. I've been there 3X & the managers/employees have been rude every time. The female manager is a B****. The first time that I went there was on a Saturday night. I looked around at their selection for 15-20 minutes. The female manager walked up to me with a lot of attitude & told me that I needed to leave because they were closing in 20 minutes. She said they are closing down the cash register & locking the doors now. I had 2 bottles in my hands & was going to buy a third. I told her that I was ready to check out. She said she didn't care & that I had to leave. She walked me out of the store to make sure that I left at that moment. Another man was outside the entrance door & asked if he could come in and buy something. The female manager held the door shut as the man was trying to open it and told him that he could not come in. The man said, "You're suppose to be open for another 10 minutes. I know what I want. I promise that I will be quick." The manager responded, "We are closing & you cannot come in." I cannot describe in words how rude this employee/manager acted. Maybe she owns it. Maybe she was having a bad day. There was no excuse. She was aggressive, offensive, condescending & rude in her attitude, facial expression, body mechanics & words. By the way, that same person was rude the next time I went. I will NEVER ever go back. I will drive 30 miles out of my way just so I won't give them anymore of my business. read more

Not the worst, not the best. On one hand it's nice that they have a security guard hanging around...on the other...they have to have a security guard hanging around? They also had some sign up, something like no purses or bags or something because of a recent increase in theft. Yikes! The cashier was nice, though. read more
