It's not that I've ever tried to swindle Uncle Sam, just that as a small business owner there always is something seemingly more pressing in the moment, until the days pass by and you live in fear of the monster under the bed, who you know is there but the little kid in you would rather not face just yet. First, it's going to be ok: let Jason and the fine team at tax city do what they do best, and put this dark horse out to pasture once and for all. I very, very rarely write Yelp reviews. Only when the service provided is so uncommonly superb that I feel duty-bound. This is just such a case. I went into Jason's office for the first time like a man walking to the execution chair. I expected the analysis of my situation to very possibly result in fines, levies, bankruptcy, 20 years hard labor in a rock quarry, all of it... Jason, who not only is a fantastic accountant, but may have very well moonlighted as a therapist at some point in his career, sensed my dread and immediately put my mind at ease. He possesses the confidence that only experience and competence provide, and quickly assessed my situation and assured me I could stop looking over my shoulder now. He devised a game plan and explained every step and the reason why, and patiently answered my many questions and concerns. I don't know if many CPA's have seen the mess I brought to this guy's doorstep, but he was undaunted, and immediately put wheels in motion to keep my affairs from getting any worse while we sorted out the rest. A year later I can say making an appointment here was one of the best business decisions I've ever made. Matter fact Jason was even able to get money back from the state for me! The cleaning up of my accumulated mess spread across many months, and at the drop of a hat Jason was there going to bat for me, yet again. Even if he charged double, it would be reasonable for the level of service and commitment this establishment provides. Do yourself a favor, regardless of how bad your situation may be, and get it handled. Your only regret will be not having done it sooner.
