It is small enough to not be chaotic and big enough to make traveling to places across the country and globe fairly convenient. Yes, you often have to stop in Seattle, Portland, Denver, SLC when flying to larger cities, especially on the east coast and of course international but I would prefer that than having to navigate an unfriendly (in terms of convience), HUGE airport. The airport is located far enough away and yet close enough to grab a ride share. Then you don't have to worry about a car, parking, and how much it will cost to let your car sit for days. I am sure this is more difficult for people that live out farther than Boise or Median though. Food option and amenities are limited but the reality for me (and likely many) is I don't hangout in the airport long since it is either my starting destination or end destination. I am excited to see all the remodeling and upgrades happening though! I hope it will a remain with a small town feel but with big city connections. Thanks BOI.

By the way BSU family weekend is like a Super Bowl here in terms of visitors. The menu offers very little but they had an egg and potatoes plate which sounded good. Guess what they were out of potatoes. Out of potatoes at 10 am in Idaho! On parents weekend! Not prepared at all for the weekend rush. They offered croissant sandwiches in there quick to go counter so we thought we could get just the croissant , but the guy working there said he couldn't give us a croissant unless it was only made as a sandwich! We got the wrap and it tasted like it was made with powder eggs. The side was tots. You might think that counts as potatoes but he was more like overcooked crunch salt balls. Seems like they were from yesterdays leftovers. Also got the avocado toast. Terrible. Plain toast with more like guacamole, not fresh cut avocado, with sliced tomatoes. That's it. They should serve this with tortilla chips and call it guacamole dip. Beyond the food being barely edible. We sat next to the bar and could hear the waitress complaining to the bartender that "everyone is being cheap" and only ordering juice and coffee. Not mimosas, beer or wine. But when I saw a guy at the bar fry and order a cocktail they said they can't serve hard alcohol until later. If you are concerned with your tips try having good customer service and a menu that is available to customers. How can you complain when items aren't available to the paying customer and they only ordered what little was available. Hard pass next time. I'll wait for Smashburger to open or grab a bagel.

I used Les Bois Limousine for my 30th birthday party, and it was so above and beyond my expectations in every way. Chris was an absolute delight to work with, and honestly a lot of fun to have along for the ride. He was very thorough and prompt in communication and SO accommodating. First off, I did a bit of research on limo companies in the area, and this one had nothing but glowing reviews and the price was the best for the duration we'd be using it. The morning of my party, I got a call from Chris saying there was a potential mechanical problem in the limo we were supposed to take. But before I could panic, he let me know he was upgrading us to the nicer, larger limo, at no extra cost. Obviously this isn't something anyone should expect, but it was so nice that not only did he make it right, he went so far above and beyond. And it was fun to get to invite a few extra last minute guests! We decided to do winery tours around the snake river valley and it was absolutely the best day. Chris provided us with a giant bottle of champagne for the ride. Which paired nicely with the other 10 or 11 bottles we had he allowed us to bring snacks in the limo, and provided ice and glasses, and allowed us to hook up our own music, which we probably annoyingly took advantage of. Admittedly we were a rowdy bunch and I'm sure we were a lot to herd from place to place and Chris was so patient, and encouraged the party along the whole way. We ended up having so much fun we decided to pay for another hour, which he was so flexible and willing to do. It was the absolute best birthday I've ever had, and I'm just waiting for the next limo worthy occasion, so I can call Chris again! 10/10 would recommend!
