What also impressed me was that typically when a salon is new, it is clean but after a while it becomes dusty and unkempt. Diva Nails was clean. And that is one of the most important requirements I think everyone has for a salon. No one wants to sit in a dusty dirty place, risk infection and breathe acrylic residue. So I drove down just to be told I didn't have to pay a deposit, that she just needed to know I was serious about scheduling because people cancel. So, I scheduled my first appointment. The man working there was a little rude when helping to start my nails soaking, but ultimately, I saw Nala, and she did a great job and seemed friendly. I scheduled two more appointments after that and the third time I went, she forgot I wanted a pedi, but it was fine. She did it. She gave me her number to text and schedule, but she responded 4 days later, saying she doesn't answer on weekends and only takes walk-ins on Fridays. I went on Friday, and she's sitting in the chair on her phone, so I think I'll get right in. She tells me I have to come back, and she's waiting on another lady (although she told me she doesn't take appointments). She told me to come back. I waited for her to see what the lady wanted done to understand timing. She said about 45 mins so when I asked if I could come back at the specific time (45 mins later) she told me if someone was there before me I'd have to wait, but she just waited on the lady before me. Huge contradiction. So I leave and text asking to schedule two weeks out and she never responds. I call the salon and she doesn't answer the phone. Now a day later and she's never got back to me. The situation was unprofessional and I will not be returning.

My mom and I came in next day and Loi remembered me from Facebook and got us in for service pretty quickly considering how busy they were. Amy was my tech and WOW she was amazing! I showed her a picture on Pinterest of what I wanted and she matched it almost exactly. Even when we ran into issues (my go-by used gold ribbons and her ribbons lost their color when applying the glue so that wasn't working) she problem solved to get me the look I wanted using alternate means. Cannot recommend her enough especially if you want something a little off the wall. She is up to the challenge. Great experience. They always do a great job and they last long, generally it's hard to find a place that last long and still the work maintains its design and look. The longest I've had a set was a month and even by the last day I was still getting compliments on them. The environment can be sometimes crowded during noon and evening time (this is typical in any salon though) the vibe is amazing nonetheless.
