We stopped in in a hurry and picked up some Halloween candy bars listed as Two for Four dollars. My stepfather gave them 5 dollars, they gave him 27 cents back. The current sales tax is 6 cents on the dollar. The price SHOULD have been $4.24 and the change SHOULD have been 76 cents. It is one thing that they inflate their prices but to then cheat the customers on sales tax as well? We will never stop in there again. read more

The manager and employees are super sweet and treat the customers like family! I always go to this jacksons.

They have fresh brewed iced tea, both sweet and unsweetened and most places only have the Lipton fountain tea. We heard they had surprisingly good biscuits and gravy, and went one morning to try that and a few other breakfast items. I would say surprisingly good- especially for a gas station! Better than a chain diner. We tried a breakfast roll that tasted like pizza crust wrapped around sausage, egg and cheese. This was our personal favorite. If you're stopping for gas and a snack, Maverick is good choice!

Only a handful are open on a Tuesday. Frank was very pleasant to speak with. I drank a glass of their rose he let me try a few others. Small winery where the owner lives yards away. Cute inside and a patio area looking over some vines. I hear the views are great when the smoke is not as thick as it was the day I was there. Frank was very kind to me and made my day. Some of the other wineries gave me what I wanted but that was it. When you are a solo traveler it is nice to talk to people. Place is about an hour outside of Boise. I will be sure to come back if in the area again.
