$40,000 vehicle story. Do not do business with this place. An absolute bottom of the barrel dealer…read more They will lie to you every step of the way to sell a trash vehicle they claim is tip-top. They buy vehicles from auction that look good at first glance but are absolute wrecks. They will tell you they are reviewed by professional mechanics and are top-notch...they aren't. This is basically a dirtbag used car dealer with nice salespeople. Then comes finance. Guy tells me they have a new system no one understands. Printed out an 84 month finance sheet and tried to get me to sign it after I made it clear I agreed to a 72 month term. Then the guy sells me a warranty, tells me it's a four year bumper to bumper warranty, but again his computer is messed up and can't show me the terms of the warranty. I come back a month later to get the terms sheet and it's a worthless drivetrain warranty. Well, they screwed me again. A month later after putting almost no miles on the vehicle, I find out they sold it with faulty brakes. They won't pay to fix them. The latest issue is I find out that it has the rust of a 20 year old vehicle and it's only four years old. Again, they buy trash vehicles from auction, lie to you about the condition, make their money and move on. DO NOT BUY FROM YHIS PLACE. Also, the pre collision sensor is broken. Their top-notch mechanic seemed to miss this as well. Oh, did I mention this was a $40,000 vehicle?

Stay away. Just stay away. Untrustworthy business. I even spoke to a mechanic who used to work…read morefor them and he said that they only fix what's immediately visible for test drives and they don't touch any long term fixes that they see. I purchased a vehicle from them end of July 2023 and within less than a week I've put over $400 into the vehicle and I have another appointment with my garage for August 17th because I am now having engine issues. They sold me a car with illegal treaded tires so I needed to purchase 3 new tires. On my drive home from the dealership my check engine light went on, so they did replace 2 CO2 censors (which seems to be a common occurance with them if you check reviews) but they did not give me any paperwork to prove it was done. My car had been totaled by a drunk driver and by the time my insurance paid me I only had one day before my rental was due back. After visiting 15 different dealerships, Lakeside was the only one left. I was upfront about the amount I could spend and I was told by the sales manager, Ethan, that he had a 2012 Kia Soul in my price range. I test drove it and liked it and then I'm informed it's actually 4k above what I can spend (14k for a 2012 soul? Really?). I got them down to $10,800, which was still above what I could do. After signing the paperwork, one of which stated that the windshield would be replaced due to a spider-webbing crack all the way across the front windshield, I left the dealership. I was told by Monday afternoon the car would be detailed and windshield replaced. I call that afternoon and was told the car was ready. They did NOT clean the car (dirt, dust, hair, smelly) and the windshield wasn't fixed. I was told the windshield would be fixed the next day, then I was told Wed, then I was told the replacement windshield broke so it would be the following Tuesday, then I was told Thursday. I've now received zero communication from the business or the person who is to replace the windshield. I also have yet to receive copies of the paperwork I signed and have requested it be mailed to me, but, again, no response. This is a shady AF business and I really hope people read these reviews to learn, unlike me.

Only real negative are the extra costs added. $999 for Proc/Doc fees and an unwanted Exo Bundle for $1399. Basically $2500 add on for really nothing, be aware. No your trade value.

ONLY BUY HERE IF YOU HATE YOUR LIFE,…read more On 5/7/26, Being in the market for a new truck I spotted a Chevy Colorado 2018 on the website and after having an actual good meeting with my salesmen Jesse we test drove the truck and not even 5 minutes into the drive the oil pressure sensor light came on and Jesse assured me that it would be taken care of and after expressing concerns about buying a truck with potential repair issues. Jesse told me that he would give me a contingent offer on the truck that if I didnt feel safe with the vehicle that I could back out of the deal and after speaking with him and the GM Denisse I felt like I was in trusting hands and they would take care of me. I signed on and financed the truck and they told me that it would take a couple days to fix the oil pressure sensor and it all sounded good to me, i felt safe that I could back out of the deal if the repairs werent met. I will be one to admit that I had actually went and bought another truck that better suited my needs and I was in contact with the dealership to tell them that I no longer needed their truck because I had found something else better and they actually were helpful to try and sell the truck to me to someone else and said I could always try and sell the truck personally if needed. I did push back that I wanted my money back and after speaking with Jesse and Denisse in person a couple days later and they said that I couldn't back out of the deal because they had fixed the trucks oil pressure sensor and it was all good to go and I couldnt just unwind the deal because I didnt want the truck anymore. It was definitely hard to hear but they did say the truck was ready to go and so I was willing to take the truck and try to sell it myself. on 5/20 I then took the truck and didnt even make it home and the oil pressure sensor came on. I alerted the dealership and brough it back the next day. I had now thought that the "We Owe" contingent on repairs on the contract and the trust I had built with the dealership would honor that I didnt feel safe in this vehicle and they have failed to properly do the repairs. Instead I was directed to the servixe manager Chris who is a nice gentlemen and was helping me with professionalism and he said he and his team would take a good look at it and make sure it is fixed. Over the next couple of days I was in touch with Chris and he was in communication what was wrong and insitied that it could be an issue with the timing and that the repairs were going smooth. He assured me that they had gotten everything taken care of and even driving it a good bit to make sure that there wouldnt be any issues with me taking it off their hands On 6/3 I had gotten a call from the dealership that the truck was ready go and I went to collect the truck and it had driven home ok but the next morning I had an early shift and on my way to work the oil pressure sensor light came on and noticed the engine start to feel a little funky and I pulled over because the car would no longer accelerate and then the engine failed to turn on, I had to call triple AAA to get the truck towed to their shop and walk to work which to mention I was caused to be late for. Later that day I called Chris and he had told me that they need to put in a whole new engine. I then told Chris that this is absoulety ridiculous and that I was assured by him, Jesse, and Denisse that this truck was safe and ready to go on 3 separate occasions. 6/4 I now needed a new car to drive around to get to work because (note i did mention earlier I had bought another truck but in a unrelated incident the other truck I bought from a private seller ended up getting in an accident and is currently under repair.) But while the truck from the dealership was under repairs I need a car to get around to work. Chris was nice enough to set me up with an extended test drive on a 21 Chevy Trax I had had it in my possession from friday to sunday with very little driving and the check engine light came on this test drive vehicle as well and I returned it to the dealership.

Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills 1565 Auto Mall Loop…read moreColorado Springs, Co 80920 While traveling to Colorado Springs in our Ford Transit van on I-70, we hit a rough patch in the road that triggered a steering warning light--and suddenly, we had no power steering. Our plan had been to spend the night in Colorado Springs and head back to Georgia the next day, so this was an unexpected and stressful situation. We went to Phil Long Ford and were immediately helped by Bailey Gifford, a Service Advisor who came out to meet us at the van. She brought us inside, helped us get everything checked in, and clearly explained the process. Although she mentioned that scheduled appointments are typically prioritized, she truly understood our situation and the urgency of our travel plans. Before we even left the service desk, Bailey reassured us that she would communicate our predicament to the technicians. That alone gave us a sense of relief. As we walked through the building toward our ride, my wife commented, "It's too bad we got a ride--this place is really nice!" And she was right. The facility is large, clean, bright, and very welcoming, with a comfortable seating area and spotless restrooms. It made a strong impression. Shortly after we dropped off the van, Bailey sent me a text letting me know I could reach her anytime during the service. We've never experienced that level of communication before. It may seem like a small gesture, but for a customer, it makes a huge difference. Being able to send a quick text instead of making a call is incredibly convenient and reassuring. A few hours later, I texted Bailey for an update. She promptly checked with the technician and responded that everything had been inspected and the van was ready--no additional services needed. We picked up the van just hours after dropping it off, and after driving a couple thousand miles since then, the power steering is working perfectly. We are now home after a beautiful trip. Thank you, Bailey Gifford, for your professionalism, kindness, and for helping us stay on schedule while giving us real peace of mind. And thank you to Phil Long Ford for employing such friendly and knowledgeable people. You've earned our trust and our recommendation.
