This company did an OUTSTANDING job, assessing and repairing my drainage needs. I had basement flooding after rains, due to the water level buildup around my house. Bill Jacobs did not try to "upsell me" over the phone, telling me possible solutions that were less complicated than I anticipated. He assessed the issue, evaluated the drainage piping issues and suggested least expensive solutions first, with further review once accessing the drain pipes. He communicated extremely well around appointment times, during the project, even showing pictures to explain how the progress was going. He made improvements over what the builder failed to do, burying gutter downspouts and connecting all drainpipes around the house. His crew unfortunately cut my underground electric dog fence, which was my fault as I forgot to indicate the lines. They told me what they had done and fixed it themselves the next day. After the job was completed, they cleaned up the site perfectly and threw down hay until grass regrows. Bob then took me around the house explaining all that he did, and answered all of my questions. Bob Jacobs is a man of his word, is honest, communicative and shows pride in his work. He correctly assessed what needed to be done, as the area flooded weeks later and my basement is dry!! If you need excavator and/or skid steer work done, Bill is the gentleman to call. I hired him to regrade a yard, replant bushes and finish a gravel drive among other things. He's willing to do what you'd like or steer you in a better direction. I've been in construction for over 20 years and it's harder and harder to find people who do good work and care about that work. Honestly, I have a hard time having other people do anything construction related for me because there's some much poor work done by so many people. Bill and his crew are among the few who I'd hire again and again. You aren't going to find better and his pricing is very fair. I can't say enough good things about Bill and his crew. Bill saved me thousands of dollars by suggesting I rehab my failing septic system instead of installing a new one. That was the right call for my situation. Nobody else I talked to spent the amount of time that Bill did surveying the property and troubleshooting the issue before suggesting going the rehab route. When it came time to make the necessary repairs, Bill and his crew did an excellent job. Everything was done very thoroughly and professionally. Never recommend. They did a half fast job on my lawn without a permit or inspector. They also took their machinery onto my driveway without any wooden slabs underneath and completely cracked the whole driveway as well as left major lumps in the front of it. They also used wet mud to fill an extremely long drench causing sinking on the left side of my yard. They also took no responsibility for this. On top of it all they knew what damage my home was in and still decided to complete a half fast job. When approached they pretty said "have them fix it" meaning the manufactured home park. Bill is not only a gentleman, he is a real professional as is his well trained crew. He took his time and made sure he understood what I was looking to do and executed a plan better than I imagined. I now have a usable yard! He did exactly what he said he would do and more with no hidden or add on cost. He showed up on time and stayed until job was completed. Too bad not all contractors have the work ethic he does. I will be hiring him again for other projects. Well worth the wait. He was backed up do to rainy weather but kept me updated the whole time.
