I really liked Jacob's Farm! We met up with some friends who live nearby. The parking is kind of all over the place on the lawn, but we found a spot easily. They had live music and we opted to sit outside with some shade. Then you can go up to the bar to order drinks, and order food via QR code at your table or at the bar. They have a lot of cocktails on draft, so I tried the blueberry lemonade, which was delicious! Not too sweet, with a great fruity flavor. Nate and I split a pizza, which was pretty good. It had a decent amount of toppings, I could've used more cheese though. This was a really fun place to hang out and catch up with friends. I think they have a lot of fun stuff going on in the fall (corn maze, apple picking, etc.) so I think it would be a great spot in cooler months too.

Drinks, food, playground, music, corn maze...what more could you ask for? Great place to take kids as it will keep them busy while you get to enjoy a drink and the beautiful scenery. Service was friendly and you order and pay with the QR code at your table so it's fast and easy to add onto your tab. Parking is limited so get there early or plan to circle the lot.

When we went out here this fall we were disappointed they were out of donuts. They had lots of outside seating area, and cute train and horses. They had pizza too.

What a fun place for all ages! My husband and I visited Jacob's farm to do some apple picking and cider donut eating, and we were not disappointed! We ended up buying 6 donuts and their hot apple cider, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. It looks like they have a lot of delicious alcoholic options and dinner, so we'll definitely be back in the future! The apple orchard was cute! The first 10 or so trees in each row were pretty low on apples (we visited in mid October), but once you got past those, there were TONS of apples to choose from. And they are delicious! There is also a playground and corn maze, so it is fun for the whole family!

Ambiance and service were excellent at the concert I attended here yesterday. The food I had was from a food truck/tent so, I don't know that it's representative of the eat's on offer at the farm. This is a super chill place to hang out. There's food and libations, and if you have the chance to attend an event here, don't hesitate. And, don't forget the big spray- if it's summer and sunset.

Fun fall environment. Skipped the corn maze because $15 per person seemed overpriced. Drinks were great, food was just okay. Apple picking was nice. Surprised they don't offer donuts or apple cider. Overall seems like a "boutique-y" apple orchard, where you dress up and get a cocktail with friends, but would probably go elsewhere for the true apple orchard experience.

I usually prefer tea bags; lecture me until my ears fall off but for I'm usually fine with sacrificing tea quality for the simplicity and convenience of a teabag. Light of Day teas, however, make me a believer in the magic of carefully blended, high quality tea. I used the Creamy Earl Grey tea to bribe myself to do the most mind-numbingly dense readings for my grad school courses, or for simply getting up and dressed for class on a grey winter morning. It's a true treat, and worth the high price. In addition to being absolutely delicious (black or with milk, sweetened or unsweetened), the tea and nearly all of the ingredients were grown at the Light of Day farm, which is certified biodynamic and right here in Michigan! Having originally tasted and fallen in love with Light of Day teas served on campus at the University of Michigan School of Public Health cafe, my friends and I made sure to visit the store during a trip up north. We felt like (grown) kids in a (healthy) candy shop -- there were so many kinds of tea, and they all sounded amazing! We all bought tins of tea for ourselves and as holiday gifts for friends/relatives, and also had a round of matcha shots, which were delicious. We strolled around the garden near the shop, but in warmer weather be sure to see the farm!

One orchard owner recommended Shangri-La Too. It's in the middle of the peninsula and it is easy to pass by; we did a few times. There is a big white residential house with farm of apple trees behind it (but it looks smaller than the massive farms around it) and a barn/shed off to the side. There was a small square sign (similar to a political campaign sign) that says u-pick and a little larger permanent rectangular Shangri-La Too sign in front of the house. There wasn't anybody outside or any sign of apple pickers, but we rang the door bell and Louis came out to explain how everything worked. He was very nice. Unfortunately, due to hail on the peninsula, the apples were badly damaged. So Louis gave half of the price for each box of apples we picked. He directed us to the specific apple trees we wanted and went back in. We picked several boxes of different types of apples, including my favorite Fujis! We are currently going through the last of the apples. As we picked, more people came to pick. There was enough room in between the trees so I could drive my power wheelchair in the grassy paths. Bumpy, but doable. The younger trees were short enough for me to pick some apples from my wheelchair and some of older ones had low hanging branches. It didn't seem like they had a public restroom, but perhaps they let people go in their house. They didn't seem to mind that we brought our two dogs, who barked the whole time in our car. Louis was very nice to us and chatted with us as we paid. We will be coming back here next apple season. Their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Shangri-La-Too-Farm-150994154926073/) says "Shangri-La Too is a small family owned and operated farm. We grow small crops of cherries, raspberries, black raspberries, apples and vegetables. We also sell eggs and honey. In season, we offer a u-pick and we pick.
