When I called to inquire about a beautiful rocking chair that never showed on the paperwork I was given, I was told that rocking chairs don't sell so we put it in the dumpster. That is a lie! I had people wanting to buy that chair for years. This is only one example of how this place steals your things and sells them for themselves. Again, I can't stand a thief or a liar. You deal with these people you are dealing with crooks!

Grab an auction number at the desk on the right when you walk in. 18% credit card buyers premium, 15% with debit card to be paid at the same desk once you've won an auction. Easy enough. You can leave bids on items before the auction starts and/or wait to bid live in person or by phone. Bring a paper and pad to jot down the lots you want to bid on because it moves fast and not in any order I could discern. If you ask the helpers, they'll move your items into an auction call queue so you don't have to be there till the end. Staff is friendly. All kinds of odds and ends from vintage cookware to furs to coins to furniture. They do auction & consignment. There's the gavel grill with some food options. There's the main room as described above and a side room, to the left, with early bird auctions running concurrently. I called to verify this was the real case and it is. She thought the upside was you only have to do it once. Well let me see, if I need to do that every time I use a credit card, then I just won't do business there. I take credit cards for sales for business purposes in the thousands. No issues whatsoever.

Oh my word the pies! I was fortunate enough to visit the auction with my family, and had heard about all of the unique, vintage finds that you can get there. I was intimidated to bid at first as I've never really been to an auction. But once I saw others do it, and how the ladies on the stage yell out the bid, I was entertained from the beginning and got into it. The owner/auctioneer Richard is quite funny. He livens the place up with his quirky comments and provides a non-threatening, overall fun environment. I came home with a side table, a white trunk, a box of silk scarves and several glass items. All for about $50. Love it! Although the auction is awesome, I do need to give a shout out to the pie maker. Holy cow. I've tried a cream pie and a fruit pie and both are to die for.
