True artist thru and thru ... that being said scheduling is not his not his forte lol but if you have to wait, he's worth it. I would highly recommend Eddie and I'm a tough bitch to please and will obsess over something until I find something wrong with it. His work is flawless, perfection at its finest. Do not come here if looking for original work, professionals or talent!! Went to Eddie for an original piece and he used the same stencil on someone else. Aside from this place looking like a hoarders dwelling, the sharps container is never emptied and the so called "artist" smokes while tattooing as well as fights with his wife in front of clients. DO NOT COME HERE!! EDDIE IS TRASH!!!! He opened the door for us and told us he had a mess, my friends and I wanted matching tattoos so we ignored the first red flag. He said he needed to clean to get ready for us. He had us waiting for 2 hours until some girl walked in and said she had an appointment. He then finally printed a stencil and used the same one 3 times on my friend instead of printing a new one. His hands were really dirty like a construction person and he just put gloves on top. Looking back on it we should've ran while we could've. When he finally got to the tattoo he had my friend on a recliner seat twisted at a 90 degree angle. The way he tattooed my friend was horrifying. He treated her skin like a coloring book. He finished this piece of crap tattoo in less than 10 min. My friend was screaming from pain and when she asked him to stop, he said no. He booked 4 people and got mad at us when we called him out on it. When he finished her tattoo, we asked him to fix it because it looked like shit, he got in my face and told me not to talk about his work and to watch myself because he's a 7 year boxer, basically trying to fight me after this. He was really on tweak or something I couldn't believe it. He refused to clean her up or bandage her and then he kicked us out. He wanted 120$ per person for that tattoo. Please don't come here, my friend puked everywhere after leaving, which I think happened because he ripped her skin open. The tattoo is nothing like the picture. We are from Los Angeles and are now traumatized by this Lompoc nobody. He is trash please find yourself a professional. Look at the pictures, this is how he made my friend leave his dusty, dirty, tattoo shop. He chased us out of his shop threatening us. I am honestly thinking of pressing charges. He had random people in and out of the shop drinking and smoking. He told us it was his day off and because it's his day off it should be 120$ each. I don't even think I have to say how upset we are after this. We are just hoping this helps you guys out. Please go somewhere safe for your tattoo. Went in for a deal they were offering for Friday the 13th yesterday was on the schedule for them and everything and then they just cancelled randomly in the evening I understand that they don't really make much off of the $20 tattoos but don't advertise/promise your customers something and then take it back rudely. By the time they had done that it was too late to drive anywhere else and everyone in the lobby was pissed not to mention the list of waiting people they had.. at least offer a counter discount or something. Eddie (the owner) fixed our tattoos for free in June. They all turned out well, even though he never apologized & even made excuses for how the 1st guy "did them right" & how maybe we don't "heal well" (even though we each have over 10 other nice tatts w/out probs!). He even went so far as to say, "that's how finger tattoos bleed & blow-out & look" even though when he was done, & they were healed - they have clean lines (no bleeding or "blowing") & great color. I'd say that his apprentice is not going to learn ANYTHING that way, and that Eddie is a defensive, unprofessional, primadonna ass. I will NOT return. Also, we waited 50 MINUTES with an appointment, and he wasn't busy or booked (we were 1st appts of the day) - after arriving LATE, he was on his cell phone outside with his auto insurance company (the guy at the desk even told us that)! Guess what, loser? NOT MY PROBLEM!!!!!! There is NOTHING professional about this establishment. He hypes-up his client list ("Sooooo many people fly from out of the country to get tatted by me..."), and his work is just average and how it SHOULD be done. If he was SO AWESOME, he wouldn't be based in Lompoc, CA. Also - drive by his shop ANY DAY OF THE WEEK AT ANY TIME OF DAY and he's standing outside smoking (so don't take my word for it)! I called to ask if they had any earring cause I had lost mine. They were great over the phone. Very helpful in person. Only bad thing....who charges $5 bucks for a ball. Not the whole thing. Eddie (the owner) did one of my tattoos in the past and it was amazing! Last week I called to make an appointment with him again but instead was tattooed by his apprentice Brandon. HORRIBLE MISTAKE! I should have listened to the review I read on this website but instead I was completely carved into and my tattoo didn't even keep its color. It wasn't even a difficult tattoo, about a quarter-size and it was on my foot. Brandon needs to lighten his touch, he acts like he's trying to color with a marker that's losing its ink and he needs to apply a lot of pressure, WRONG! Eddie has nearly lost my business because I called and specifically asked to be scheduled with him and instead I was passed off to a butcher of a tattoo artist. If he refuses to fix this awful tattoo job then I will definitely be taking my business over to Jimmie at the Copper Coffin. read more

I recently got my septum pierced by the owner, Eddie and he messed it up royally. He was supposed to pierce right under the cart-ledge and instead he pierced right through it. It was extremely painful and would not heal right. Pretty much I wasted 50 dollars. Not to mention he free handed it because "you have a small nose" yet why in the hell did he pierce it with a 14 gauge instead of a 16 gauge. Do not get pierced here!!!!! read more

Eddie is super sweet and extremely reasonable! He'll work with you price-wise if you play your cards right. He also does free touch-ups. Don't get pierced by him though. He can't pierce. I've seen multiple people get fucked up piercings by him.. Instead go to Lost Kings for a piercing! A lot of people complain that he stands outside his shop and smokes. It doesn't bother me... I went in to Jade Anchor the first time because my friends mother knew one of the girls who worked there and we wanted to say hi. Although we did not buy anything they were very polite. After that I decided that I would check them out as I was looking for a shop to do a memorial piece for my mother. Eddie was very informative and polite and showed me his beautiful portfolio. He was very understanding and respectful and although I could not get the tattoo done due to my age he was very positive and encouraging. The next time I went in because I had purchased a set of captive ball gauges for the first time and I needed to find a piercing tool to open them. I initially had gone to Lost Kings because I wasn't sure if jade anchor would have the tools however the guys at Lost Kings were EXTREMELY rude to me. I was quite frustrated and decided to try Jade Anchor, Eddie opened the gauges for me and even helped me to secure the beads. Their shop is always very clean and they have phenomenal customer service as well as beautiful art I would have to say it's the best shop in Lompoc and I'd recommend it to anyone. read more

Wow - I'm not really sure why the name calling was necessary "Tracy D" - Sounds a bit Witch Huntish from a competitor of sorts. I'm not at all afraid to say that I love his work, and I don't doubt for one minute that the terrible review from Tracy D came from someone at one of the other local tattoo shops. DO NOT GO HERE . I got an industrial done here in March and the experience was horrible he didn't even really talk to me about the placement or anything and they're set up is not professional . And the way he told me to clean it was the wrong way . So I was having issues with one of the holes I was getting green crust and it was super sore all of the time so when I went with my friend to get a piercing in SB I asked about it and he told me you're not supposed to use chemicals on it (the dial soap the guy told me to use) or any cotton because it could get in the piercing and infect it (the q tips he told me to use) the guy offered to change the piercing for me and he recommended a 16 gauge instead if the 14 I had and the size of the balls that he recommended for my ear were WAY smaller than the ones I had . So when he changed it he instantly said "ugh" and when I asked what was the problem he said I had one of the lowest quality pieces of jewelry in my ear ! Explains the green crust !! And now my ear feels a million times better already and he gave me the specific salt I needed to actually clean it the right way . So if I were you I would NOT go to this horrible mockery of a place . read more
