I came here for a girlfriends little birthday celebration for a bit. I loved it. The staff were insanely kind, the atmosphere was ethereal and the vibes, immaculate. I definitely recommend this place for a Mother's Day or any little events take your girlfriend or mom or even boyfriend. It's honestly not that bad of a price for what you do and what you get. Great day date idea! Located in Deep Ellum among other great shops . They were extremely busy on a Saturday morning. The staff was still helpful and even offered to box up our cactus and keep it until we were done with our shopping. There were plants, gift cards, to smaller decor items. I picked up a hilarious greeting card, party cups + balloons, and a few other items. I mean, they have cute stuff but overpriced. Worst of all, they hurt my feelings. I bought this super cute pair of gold tiny mushroom earrings. My sister loved them and I wanted to get her a pair for her birthday. They didn't have them in but the employee said they 'd text me when they came in which would be probably the next Tuesday. When they didn't text me I went back in to see if they had them and the employee said she'd text me next week when they came in. It was a fun experience and they have cute colors, however, the owner was not very kind and didn't properly to take time to me and my group. When putting in my plant, she ruined the design I had been working on the whole entire time, even after I told her I wanted to keep the design. She has a "fake nice" personality, welcoming people when they come in. But once it comes to actually working with customers, she was very rude. Cool store, but everything is way overpriced, and customer service is lacking. My wife and I ran in for 2 reasons - to get out of the pouring rain and because it looked like a cool shop. Even bought a book as a gift. The staff is not kind or inviting in the least. We were the only people in the store and after checking out, wanted to wait out the rain a bit. They had 1 chair with a sign to not sit in it and a few empty stools at the succulent bar. We mentioned waiting for the rain to let up and they ignored us. We sat on the ground for 3-5 minutes and decided to run next door for a beer since they seemed bothered we were there. I won't be back, but it probably won't be around long. read more

Weird experience at this shop. I noticed you could pot your own succulents and was excited to try it, but I was pretty much ignored by the head Plant lady. When I did get her attention she seemed condescending. Ironically they sell feminist books here but I get a different vibe entirely. This is a plant shop that allows you to build your own terrarium. Theoretically a great idea: lots of cute succulents to choose from, wide variety of containers, colorful sand, air plants, crystals, and even little "plant buddies" to add. However, the lady at the plant bar was very friendly and helpful for everyone around except us. This seemed a little weird but not a big deal. The big issue was that--despite assurances that the finished terrarium would be safely packed up for the drive home--we opened the box to find the sand had spilled everywhere and everything we'd carefully arranged was knocked around. When I tried fixing it, I saw that the soil that packed in the plants had mixed into the sand and there was no way to repack the plants. I had expected some jostling but not for the whole thing to be ruined. I have a lot of succulents so I had some extra soil on hand, but it basically had ruined everything we had put together at the store. Honestly, my takeaway is that it's a cute store and a fun concept, but the reality is not worth the price. read more

Bought tickets to build a terrarium with Jade and Clover. The event had this awesome big terrarium advertised. The ones we made barely fit one miniature succulent. They even posted this awesome dinosaur planter to their Instagram mentioning the event like it would be an option. I like the idea, I just feel like they weren't clear on what we were getting for our money. read more

I was shopping here and literally watched the person working this store walk up to a woman and tell a shopper that she wasn't allowed to look at the books unless she bought it first. Not only did she tell the woman not to browse without purchasing something first, but she yelled it so the whole store could hear. The group of people who own and operate this place are just plain good people. I did a sidewalk flea market with them this past weekend and they were so accommodating and helpful! I have always done my gift shopping here and always find the best things! Cutest cards in Dallas and now that the entire strip of places near them is opening up (including a FLOWER SHOP and a cute little paper store- not to mention the brewery) this area just couldn't be a more fun place to spend your weekend! Love this little store! Full of planters, succulents, and things to make your house or apartment look cute and cozy. The girls who work here are awesome -- I had to switch out my planter for a larger one, and when I brought my actual plant in, they re-potted my plant for me (complete with drainage rocks and dirt). This place was a secret gem, I did not want to go all the way to the galleria for a New Years Eve outfit and they had a small section of very cute clothing. One lady was very helpful in assisting me to find the perfect outfit. The only downside is that they are starting to stop selling clothing. Would go back if I lived in Dallas for sure! read more

We rented bikes next door and came upon this store. Cute store with everything from clothes to customizable succulence bowl. The owner is nice. We bought three raw honey bottles (from Colorado) and gave us a little discount. Unfortunately one of the ones I bought had already been opened and sampled. I called that very day and someone at the store said come back and I would be refunded. When I got to the store, they said they only take exchanges or store credit. The fact that I was given a sampled honey would have been fine if I had the opportunity to get a refund. Instead I left the store with a grainier honey since they didn't have the same one I returned in stock. I also find their clothes selection a bit on the pricier side seeing how they are made in china. But the selections have a similar feel to urban outfitter/free people if you are interested. read more
