Grange Hall is a well-executed niche concept--a curated retail space of small, high-end designers of various products with a small dining space tucked in the back. Perfect place for a "ladies lunch", and ideal selection for my most bourgeois sister's birthday lunch. Our table started with a bottle of Cava, which got ravers from the group. For the actual meal we started with a beautiful crudite plate with an assortment of dips, the best caviar I've ever tasted, our various entrees (I ordered the kale salad) and then some housemade madeline's with a duo of not-too-sweet dipping sauces. I thought everything tasted very good, but both of my sisters were absolutely RAVING and using phrases like "flavor bomb" throughout all courses. If I could give half stars, I'd land at a 4.5 because I wasn't completely satisfied at the end of my meal, but I'll put some of that down to my ordering. I probably should have selected the butter-poached salmon one of my sister's ordered for her main, as it was FANTASTIC. Overall, I have to round up to five stars as four doesn't seem appropriate for Grange Hall given the care you can tell is taken by staff, particularly the chef. One member of our party ordered the tarte, and he requested she make another selection because he did not like how it turned out. I can appreciate any place maintaining such a standard! Overall, this was a lovely place for high end lunch that didn't feel too stuffy. I'd definitely come back, with a similarly curated group of dining companions. read more

This hidden gem in Highland Park is an amazing find. A quaint and beautiful space with a cafe that has delicious food. Truly good food.

I went here to get my girlfriend flowers the staff was no help. When I called, I explained what I would be looking for and the lady said she would be able to help me out when I arrived. I asked to see some examples of bouquets they've done in the past since they didn't have any on display. And she was not able to show me anything and seemed more interested in how much I wanted to spend instead of helping me find the perfect bouquet for my lady. This was a complete waste of time and I would never recommend coming here. I love having lunch here. It's full of light and so beautiful. This place is definitely expensive -- but full of unique and gorgeous things. It's just fun to see how everything is displayed and especially all the JEWELS. SWOON! I love coming here for a light lunch. It's the perfect place to come with girlfriends to celebrate a birthday. Last Friday my wife had a bridal shower with ten girls. I wanted to make sure the table looked great and gave them directions to put together an amazing arrangement. The total for the flowers only was $650. See the attached picture of the only Bouquet of flowers that was on the table. I was not at the party so my wife probably assumed I gave them a $100 budget. This is ridiculous and not fair at all. I've purchased arrangements every few weeks from all the top flower stores in dallas over the years and not once have I felt cheated with pricing until last Friday. I would not recommend buying flowers from this establishment however the restaurant is amazing and I have nothing bad to say about them. Possibly one of the most wonderful places to explore in Dallas! Uniquely all it own style thanks to some gifted types that bring a sense of, well, where Downton Abbey meets Stanley Korshak! I've been visiting this delightful shop for years & have yet to leave without something wondrous. Not to be missed - their bathroom is minimal avant-garde of which I've replicated at my own place - wall paint & all. Just ask they will give you the name/shade of the paint. The outside of this building is spectacular. I drive by this building everyday and it's by far my favorite. They are constantly renovating the outside. When you walk through the front doors it's breath-taking. When a client or anyone traveling/visiting asks me where to go for a souvenir/to shop, I send them here. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for; it's absolutely worth it. If you want to splurge or send the love of your life the most gorgeous flowers, order them from here. They arrive in the most impeccable quality, words cannot describe. Last time I ordered flowers here they asked me questions like "what is their favorite color", "what is the color of the table these will sit on"? How amazing. I've never been asked questions like that. So detailed so they can get it right the first time. read more

I went to Grange Hall for a night cap and the ambiance was very nice and the staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I sat in the lounge chairs then moved to the bar. The dessert I wanted was only served with dinner but the host madd me something close to it and it was really nice. I will definitely go back. read more

If I had a million dollars, I would spend alot of it here! Let me first start with Urban Flower. The first time I purchased an arrangement from here they asked me about details I hadn't even thought of..."What does the table look like the flowers will be displayed on?" and "What is the color scheme of the room?" The florist created a beautiful and creative display. Great work and while a little pricey, he did stay in budget. In Grange Hall they also have a gift store, that is absolutely amazing. They have very unique and non-Dallas eclectic items. Prices are a little steep, but the items gorgeous. It seems as though the buyer put quite a bit of thought into each item on display. Grange Hall is a fantastic little store that is also called Urban Flower. Urban Flower makes some of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen - you've probably seen some of theirs in Stanley Korshak, the W, etc. In addition to Urban's gorgeous arrangements, Grange Hall has a nice selection of home decor and gifts. The owners have unique taste - doll's head candle holders and paperweights with snake skeletons inside are two things that immediately come to mind. read more

Best place to buy a gift in Dallas. Everything in this store is exquisite. It's extremely expensive but I love taking friends from out of town here. Just the smell alone in there is enough to want to walk in- it's intoxicating! I work on photo shoots and sometimes we are able to use selected pieces from Grange Hall and I feel like a kid in a candy store. The staff is very helpful but knows when to leave you alone if you are just wanting to peruse. For a girls day in that area, I recommend a walk on the Katy trail or barre class at Travis walk, lunch at the T room at Forty Five Ten or Le Bilboquet and a trip to Grange Hall, Bardot, and Hemline! read more

Recently called and ordered an arrangement that I saw on the website for a friend that lost his grandmother. The manager, Lauren, said it wasn't a problem and took all my info and ended up paying $110 for a $5 vase with a piece of duct tape wrapped around it. When my friend text me later that evening to thank me, he said the flowers were pretty but he couldn't believe they wrapped a piece of DUCT TAPE around the vase and called it a day! I was so embarrassed, I called the next day and spoke with Lauren, who seemed like she couldn't be bothered and her response was "well sir, we do use duct tape so... what do you want a refund?"... I'm blown away by this response, my friends and I frequent the restaurant and have NEVER had a problem with ANYONE! Lauren said she would credit me $15 for the cost of the vase, here we are a week later and no credit nor follow up... OH! And to top it all off, my friend text three days later (order placed and delivered on Mon, Thursday he text) and the flowers were completely wilted and dead! LoL STAY AWAY FROM GRANGE HALL FLORAL! I give it three stars because the people that work there are amazing, friendly, and helpful. However, don't expect a lot. It has women's jewelry, some dinnerware, and a few statues for 20 grand. I was told to go there for beautiful antiques and fine home furnishings. While everything there was definitely beautiful, I don't recall seeing any antiques or home furnishings. It just looked like a super high-end version of a gift shop. It took me about five minutes to look at everything they have. I was expecting more by the other reviews on here. read more

Decor is 5+ Stars, from chandeliers to their flooring, and even their silverware all look exceptional. But here is why they get 4 stars, I ordered the Yellow Fin Tuna and my wife ordered the rabbit pasta. The rabbit pasta was definitely good, full of flavor but my tuna was below average, the presentation was great, but the taste was flat and dull. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I went here today (for the first time) to exchange perfume that my sweet husband gave to me for Mother's Day. I needed to buy some gifts for other people so planned to do some additional shopping, too. After disappearing into the back to "talk to the manager," the snotty shop girl at the counter told me that because the clear plastic wrap had been removed from the perfume, I could not return it. I hadn't even sprayed the perfume - just smelled the bottle to see if I liked it. So, their policy with fragrance is that if you smell it, you must keep it. Absurd! I've never encountered such a ridiculous policy and such snooty staff. I will never set foot in this place again. read more

This little boutique is difficult to compare to anything around. I'd say it's very fresh spirited but gothic at heart, whimsical and unpredictable. Just to be there is an experience. Always made me think of the inside of Saint Julien le Pauvre church in Paris because of its atmosphere and fragrance. It has Nymphenburg pieces by Ted Muehling, it has an art book selection better than the one at Barney's, amazing one of a kind jewlery, flower arrangements gorgeous beyond belief, to name just a few little things. I would never recommend this florist to anyone who wants a worry free business transaction!! They not only completely got the floral arrangement wrong that I wanted but also did not deliver it on time which ruined the entire reason for sending the flowers. They tried to redeem themselves by making another arrangement which did look a lot better but they avidly try to gives excuses for their business and artistic mistakes. Instead of taking fault for their miscommunication on all sides they want to make the customer feel like it's their fault or blame it on anyone else but themselves. I also browsed their Instagram page to only discover that the first arrangement was merely a copy of other arrangements they had previously made which completely made sense why I did not get the custom and unique arrangement that I very distinctively described to them that I wanted. All that glitters is clearly not gold in this shops case but they will assure you that they can handle your order and if they can't, all of the sudden someone else is to blame. This shop is more for someone who just wants to say, "I want to spend this much and make it pretty." This shop is not at all for someone who's truly wanting an arrangement to reflect their personality and artistic side to give your receiver that happiness and reflection that you intended. read more

This is one of the few places in Texas that sells Cire Trudon candles. The floral arrangements are pretty. I will squander money on candles but not floral arrangements that I would kill in a week or so. I know where it is now but my only complaint is that the entrance needs a sign. read more

You could PAY me ten million, twenty million dollars to buy from this store (I have turned down shopping spree weekender trips with expenses all paid to New York before; due to this evidence it is very likely I could honestly turn down ten million dollars if I was repulsed enough at the time) to buy from these people who run this store and I would, if not immediately, turn you down on the spot. The customer service? Nonexistant. I am passionate of their decor: I would never buy from them and was heavingly disgusted by the elitism and egocentricism wavelengths emanating from their souls in that I could not genuinely absorb the atmosoheric environment they made for their business. I also, post-visit, read some interviews of these people by several reputable sources you can find over the internet, and I found that I was correct; They really do not care about the customer as long as the store serves themselves first; It is as clear as day. This is not exactly some 'huge interior design occurence' its simply a store you'd more likely see in San Fran than Dallas is all. Go to Jonathan Adler right next to this store and save your moneys for San Fran. It is the honest truth in that I do not routinely get this gut feeling to the characters of persons in stores as intensely as this experience. I also revisited their store recently for the second time (first time was near to when they had opened) and confirmed the thoughts of these people as to lessen any err of judgment I may have had in my first visit to Grange Hall. I do wish these people were more fortunate in way of personality but you will, as the customer, be a mere shadow of some item and their own shadow, in their store.
