I ate at jade east garden today and had their buffet for dinner . I had their teriyaki vegetables, rice and vegetable lo mein I would say they have plenty of things to indulge in on their buffet menu . Even their fruit bar had so many options and each item was fresh. Their customer service is very fast and polite. I did not feel rushed to eat when I was there and the waiter kept up with refilling the drinks I had. I would say this is a safe option to eat if you were vegetarian or just want some Chinese food. It's just a really topical Chinese buffet so you don't expect much from it but I would say they switch or add when the food on buffet running out or low. All you can eat buffet for $13.99. They had a few different types of sushi. I suggest dipping them in yum yum sauce - that tastes homemade - then soy sauce. All different types of chicken, salmon, rice, veggies, noodles, sweet and sour soup, boiled shrimp, crawfish, egg rolls, crab rangoons. There was no wait when we got there on a Saturday night about 7. Plenty of people so you recognize it's loved by locals but not too many to cause a wait. Give it a try on your next trip through here! Is a basic run of the mill decor, they have 2 hot bars and 1 cold bar, and a freezer of ice cream you scoop yourself. staff was friendly little of a language barrier but not bad. Seen a sign about how much ounces their "drinks" have but didn't see what alcohol they sold. Has some stuff for kids that American like cheese sticks and chicken nuggets. It's simple but has your basics. I felt the taste was good. The buffet is a bit cold for my liking. But. Friendly staff and food tastes good. Some room for big truck parking being in Walmart parking lot. A couple of TVs and the sweet tea is great. I give 4 stars just because the buffet is a little cool. It was great, I went on June 1st for my birthday this year, and the food was amazing. The workers were nice, and and they let me take a to go plate. It costs $5 a pound though, but it was worth the money. I'm looking forward so much to going again. read more

We had a 4 person party and we got there everything was good except the food. Most of everything we got was cold the shrimp hadn't of been deveined. We had maybe 5 plates between the 4 of us and there wasn't much we could actually eat. We went to pay and the man had diffrent tickets for us he charged us 10% extra for the food we didnt eat. I ordered take out for my Dad and Grandmother. It was freshly made just for us and was Out Of This World. I live in San Gabriel Valley, CA, the mecca where Asian food is served everyday. This was as good as what I would have gotten there. The vegetables were crisp and not over done, the sauce was delicious and the servings were generous. Food isn't really all that good. Way to pricey for what you get. You get a lot of choices but quality is poor.

Had lunch at Jade East today. As Chinese buffets go these days, this one was pretty small - only three steam tables and a bar area - but there were enough selections to find plenty to eat. The best words I can think of to describe the food are "average" and "adequate." Passable, edible, fairly bland, nothing to write home about. Food temperatures concern me for health and food safety reasons, especially at a buffet where items sit out for unknown lengths of time. These were not what I would call piping hot. Service was fine. Price about what you would expect. I might return if I were especially deprived of Chinese food and Jade East happened to be convenient, but I won't make it a point to go back. read more

I have never particularly cared for this Chinese restaurant. Today I ordered takeout ,because it was closer. I got home and the rice was tasteless. The chicken looked as though it had sat for a while before served. And on top of that there was a hair wrapped around a piece of chicken.
