Hot, fresh, delicious. We ordered pork egg foo young, sesame wings and crab Rangoons. Took it to go and loved every bite.

Yesterday I was feeling Chinese for the New Year so I opened up my Uber Eats to see what was close to me. After some time of looking at the menu and some Google research I decided to try China 1. First I ordered a Pork Egg Roll which was very well done and seasoned and not overcooked. I put some Duck sauce on that bad boy and it really set it off for me. 8.5/10 I also got the Veggie Lo Mein which was very good but I felt needed a bit more flavor but overall I enjoyed it. Add some soy sauce to it and you're good to go. 8/10 I also got the Orange chicken with a side a plain fried rice. The rice was just what it was rice but the orange chicken was amazing! Very juicy very flavorful and I couldn't stop eating it. 9/10 Oh I almost forgot I also got Spring Rolls. Didn't really care for them the inside was way to mushy for me. 5/10 Lastly I got the Chinese Donuts as a child I have always loved these. It's literally just fried dough with sugar all over it. Only thing it was missing was the sweet red sauce to dip it in that I didn't recieve unfortunately. 7.5/10 I definitely recommend this place though. I used to eat here a lot. I ordered once recently and it wasn't very good. I gave it another chance and it was worse. The soup was congealed and inedible. The dumplings had freezer burn and were chewy. The entree and fried rice was very dry. So disappointed! Do not waste your money. read more

I'm all about trying different Chinese restaurants across town when I find myself in the area and this restaurant was no exception. I'm glad there wasn't any other customers in the restaurant since it wouldn't be a wait for my food which I ended up ordering my usual which is chicken with broccoli and a hot and sour soup. Like I mention, it didn't take long for my food to cook and when arriving home, I noticed there wasn't any egg roll in my bag. At first, I was assuming they forgot to put one in the bag, but after reading the lunch menu, it mentioned that it didn't come with an egg roll and that a crime in my book. Regardless of the food, the chicken with broccoli and the fried rice was good, but the hot and sour soup was the highlight of my meal. To say the food was bland would be an understatement. Kung pao chicken extra spicy may as well have been baby food for the amount of heat. I will admit the give huge portions. Don't let that fool you mostly celery the pieces of chicken were so small I am not sure if there was any meat or just leftover breading from last week. Service was good. Great casual Chinese place. This is where we always go when we don't want to drive to Birmingham. The service is pretty standard for Chinese takeout, we have always felt welcome whenever we've gone. Though lacking in size, this restaurant is family owned and will serve you more food per dollar than any other place in the area. Stixs and sushi village do what they can but nothing can compare to the quality and service of this humble hole-in-the-wall. My favorites are the beef and broccoli, General Tso's chicken, shrimp eggrolls, crab rangoons, and house Lo mein. The food has a really good flavor. I tend to order my food without the rice because of the carbs. The rice is just ok. The owners are friendly and fast. There are a few tables to eat in, but it's really a take-out place. Just moved to the area and gave this place a try. Great little Chinese spot in a strip mall. Family owned place. The service was friendly and fast, and the food was tasty and well priced. The crab ragoons were just okay, but the General Tso's chicken was really yummy. Chicken fried rice tasted good but the chicken had a weird texture. I have a feeling this is the place who has some really kick butt specialties that you should always order (like the tso's chicken) and everything else is just okay. This is my favorite lunch Chinese place. They give you lots of food, the food is good, and it is cheap. I get the garlic chicken and my wife gets broccoli chicken, I have had the sweet and sour and it is good too. My wife says the wanton soup Is good too. This is your typical strip mall chinese place, but seriously these guys don't give a f*** when it comes to customer service. I called them to place my order and the guy was just like, "ok thank you." and hung up on me without telling me how long it would be till it's ready or my total. The food itself was pretty bland, and needed salt (I've never known chinese food to EVER lack salt). And to be honest, I think the chinese food you get from the food court in the Galleria is better. You do get A LOT of food in the large order, so you can easily share, and the egg rolls are alright. Overall, I wouldn't go back unless I was REALLY craving chinese food and this was the closest place to me...It's just kinda bland, and my overall thought was "meh, it's food."
