I have used Jaden's catering well over 10 times, (4 weddings and numerous parties). Javid and staff are wonderful to work with. The food is amazing (I think over the years we have tried it all). I attended a conference in Monroeville and there was a buffet set up. The food was prepared well and tasty. Breaded cod was one offering and Chicken romano which was also breaded and they were both very good. Tri tips were a bit overcooked. Baked potatoes with all the trimmings were there and some twice baked potatoes with cheese and bacon. Salad was a bit boring with croutons on the side and two dressings. Eggplant parmigiana was excellent. Pasta Salad is something that did not appeal, so I did not try that one. Green beans, yellow beans and carrots could have used a bit more cooking. All in all, a very solid and protein packed dinner. I did not see any desserts and not sure anyone had room for them after the meal. read more

I am not usually a person to share a negative review of a business but.. this is necessary. In December, I reached out to Jaden's Catering located in Monroeville, PA for catering information for my baby shower in April. Our emails went back and forth until we solidified a package plan that would work best for us. After receiving our invoice, we decided to move forward and book the caterer. Please note-- there was no contract, no delivery time listed, no details in the invoice (see photo), and not much information. Well, here we are just about a month out from the shower and I had some questions (like what is included in mobileware and why the cost of my drinks had changed from my initial quote to the invoice). This was the response I received this morning (see photo). The worst food ever!!!!! The chicken was raw and bloody ! Second time there and very very disappointed! The server was rude and banging the dishes around. When I told her the chicken wasn't cooked she just grabbed it and said oh yeah it is. You think she would offer something else?? The cake made by the in house baker was awful and it just crumbled. Then the cupcakes tasted like almond flavoring.... Who does that? The salad was old and tasteless. The pasta tasted like it was frozen. No bread or rolls. Not even ice for the drinks. I had an event in my home this past Saturday where the catering was delivered to us. The gentleman wore a mask, gloves, and asked if we were okay with him entering our home. Jaden's Catering saved our Easter Brunch! This was my first time ordering from Jaden's. We had an order for 16 and the night before Easter our headcount went up to 24 at 9pm at night. I frantically called Jaden's which of course was closed and left a message and sent an email. At 8:17am on Easter morning, the owner phoned me and said he was on it! The food was delivered fresh and hot at our scheduled time at 1pm. We praise God for Jaden's! The food was abundant and so tasty. Everyone loved the dishes and everyone took home a lot of food! I stopped at the bbq stand they have set up. Ordered Mac and cheese, ribs and corn bread. This is the worst excuse for bbq I have ever had. The ribs weren't even smoked. No smoke ring at all. They were also very dry. And no flavor to the ribs them self. Had to drown it in sauce for it to be editable. Next is the corn bread. It was not home made and served cold. It was the type you get In a package at the grocery store. Now the Mac and cheese wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. I will not be returning. read more

VERY, VERY, VERY disappointed in the lack of "Customer Service" I just received from Jaden's. For about 15 years, I've been ordering their famous "Peach" cookies. I've never had a problem ordering 3-4 doz of them. They are a specialty item & since I make tons of other cookies, I've always relied on Jaden's for the "Peaches." Today I called to order six dozen, (three for our company Christmas party, three to take to CA). I was told they no longer accept orders for single cookies, only variety cookie trays. I was told they don't have time to do orders for single cookies, and wasn't told politely! I explained I am a repeat customer for YEARS, that we have company lunches catered through them, & that I need to take the cookies on a plane so I cannot take many, but since the "Peaches" are a favorite with our family, could they make an exception. We recently used Jaden's to cater our children's Graduation Party. The service and food were both outstanding...from ordering over the phone to delivery and set up, everything was perfection. We had roast beef with Au Jus, chicken romano, fried chicken, mac n cheese, twice baked potatoes, roasted yukon gold potatoes, strawberry walnut salad, anti pasta salad, mediterranean salad, corn on the cob, green beans almondine, grilled veggies and cornbread. I split the items into two servings, lunch and dinner utilizing the hot storage containers that Jaden's left for us to use. This kept everything nice and hot. Plenty of food for everyone.
