When I brought up a respectful concern, I was met with defensiveness and no accountability. No effort to listen. No willingness to make it right. Came here as an emergency. I will start with the petty... said mani and pedi would match... did not. One gel pedi nail chipped within 2 days. But on the serious note about ten hours later started having intense pain in my big toe. The toe nail is literally pliable and the pain is significant and toe is swollen and red. I'm leaving this review today in hopes that the owner will see this message and do better. I started patronizing this business about eight months ago when I relocated here. I've come here at least a dozen times, but have only been satisfied with my service a handful of times. I know, why did you continue to go do you ask? The reason being is it's convenient for me, the nail salon is nice and everyone there is normally very friendly and attentive so I kept trying different nail techs in hopes that I will be satisfied with one. The last couple of times I came to the salon I noticed that the service had declined tremendously. Long wait before even being acknowledged, no update, not even a sorry for the wait. I decided to have the dip removed from my nails because none of the services that I had been getting was lasting longer than a week. I recently started back getting either a gel polish or dip. Twice I had to come back within a day to have it redone because of chipping, the other times I just dealt with it. I came to the salon a week ago to have the dip removed from my nails, and waited about 20 minutes before even being acknowledged and ask what type of service was needed. Another 25 minutes before I was ever seed it and then 15 minutes went by and no one had started started my service yet. I left because I had somewhere to be. I returned to have the dip removed and once again sat for about 15 minutes before being acknowledged and asked if I could wait 30 mins. Thankfully it didn't take 30 mins before being serviced, however the service was horrible, and with no apology for the wait. The dip was removed and nothing else. No suggestion to make my nails look nice and not even a decent file down (photo attached). I know it's not just me because I've watched as others have had similar experiences. Are they good? Yes. Why the low rating? Because of lack of transparency and nickel and diming for everything. I called before I came and was told that dip would be $40. When I get there, he says that acrylic is better and that i need to do almond shape. Overall how much for a set of ACRYLIC nails? $60. Acrylics are $55 plus $5 to shape. Wtf. The place is very clean and spacious. They have a full bar and the service is good. My nails looked nicely done. My complaint is the way they charge. I went for a nail polish change and they charged Me for a full pedicure. I corrected the person at the front about the services I received, he still charged me $70 for a polish change of my toes and hands. I did not even got my feet wet or cuticle care or even a dip in water. So disappointed and won't be coming back. Be careful and review really well the charges when you go pay. read more

So i came in for a manicure earlier this week, was absolutely awful, the polish was streaking and chipping in less than 12 hours. I went bsck the next day and had them redone , i paid extra 25$ for gel. it's been 2 days now and my gel is cracking, peeling, and extremely discolored. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but wish i didn't. I wasted my time and money at this salon when they clearly don't know how to do nails. Got the deluxe pedicure. Nothing deluxe about this service. The menu said this option included an 8-minute massage which was the pedicurist holding my feet with pressure vs. an actual massage. He didn't even do a good job cutting my toenails or a provide a cuticle treatment. The callus removal was also sad as it was a gentle rub with the foam pumice brick. Will not be returning. read more

They rescued a set I had gotten somewhere else that was lifting terribly. The cons: it's sort of dirty, and there's lots of walk-ins so sometimes I am left to wait even if when I make an appointment. I went to get acrylics removed once and it seemed like no one had ever asked them to do that before, hot acetone and lots of pulling at my nails was involved. okay.. so I came here last Thursday with a friend and I was not impressed. I called Tuesday afternoon to set up an appointment for Thursday @ 6pm for dip, gel, & two pedicures. When we arrived to our appointment, there were only 3 nail techs but 6 people needing service. Obviously they were understaffed and since there were two ladies who got there before us, they were worked on first and we had to sit in the pedicure chair for about 30 minutes before someone came over. The first time I did Gel nails, it was perfect! I forgot who did them, but she was amazing and they lasted for 3.5 weeks. My gel nails are NOW peeling off and it's been about a week. I don't understand why they didn't lift on my prior visit versus my visit last week (usually it all depends on the person who did it obviously...) I'm really sad because I spent $60+ that day. J'adore nails is UNPROFESSIONAL, RACIST, TERRIBLE and INCONSISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DIRTY. I have been here on multiple occasions and have always been courteous, tipped well etc and they have ALWAYS been impatient and snippy. If you ask them to fix something that's painstakingly obvious, they respond with an attitude that makes you - A PAYING CUSTOMER - feel uncomfortable. The last few times I've gone here (late 2020 - January 2021), I've gotten fungus on several nails. That's never happened before, and after the second time I realize it was nothing I was doing, but J'adore's practices and cheap nails and lack of knowledge of knowing how to properly adhere acrylic so that water didn't get into my nails. The last straw for me was a day I had an appointment and came in on time and they were busy. I was understanding and patiently waited for an hour - with my nails soaking in acetone - while they tended to others (mainly white customers). Nail tech Richard was rough and cut me several times as he was rushing and in the end left several of my nails uneven and almost an entire hand with black lumpy gel polish. They typically offer paraffin treatment after gel and I had to ask (others received paraffin with no question). Richard got the paraffin and handed it to me and told me to put it on myself and went to assist a new customer (white woman). I let the manager know that I had some nails needing to be fixed and she said "tell him". I told Richard and he said I had to wait for him to finish this other persons nails to which I responded that I had already been there almost 3 hours and he said "come back tomorrow". I told him I could not and told them that if he couldn't fix it, I couldn't pay. He then agreed to fix it and asked me to sit down - and then continued doing the other persons nails. I STILL politely waited another 10 minutes and then finally got up and told them I wasn't paying. Then he jumped up and wanted to fix it. I told him to forget it. Needless to say, I did NOT pay for my nails and will NEVER return. They also talk about customers behind their back. While waxing my eyebrows on one occasion, the tech complained to me about a customer who had just come in calling her "crazy". I am absolutely disgusted and am firmly against giving my money to people who don't respect or deserve my business. 0 stars!!! read more

Anna makes the best Vietnamese coffee with XO cafe patron Raul gives the best foot massage during pedicures and is fun to talk with! & May is super sweet and great with my dip manicure! First time. Stopped in while running errands in the area. It was the cute Yelp pics that brought me in. It looked poshy. Luxish. It was cute. But not posh. I was greeted when I walked in and given a service menu. I told her what I'd like and she asked me to pick a color. Typical. Same as any salon. The lady a couple of pedi chairs over was also being set up. They offered her a drink but didn't offer me one. Not that I wanted one. Just for sake of consistency. I did see however they have a full bar. Jack. Gin. Vodka. They have it all! They set me up in the pedicure chair and started working on my manicure. Using clean out of package tools. I asked why they hadn't started the jets. I really NEEDED the hot water and jets on my tired feet. She waved her hand a bit and said "she's coming" I looked over to another lady going back and forth putting away supplies or merchandise (?) She was half way done with my first hand when I asked again if she could please start the jets. She said I needed to wait until the other lady came repeating "she's coming she's coming" Thinking to myself, can she not or not know how to turn it on? I could feel the water turning luke warm. It was beginning to frustrate me. I was feeling tired and decided on a whim to treat myself (not from Dallas - not my regular nail lady) The whole point of the pedicure is the pampering part The jets!! The scented foot bath salts. The hot hot water relaxing and soothing your feet. No jets no joy. So I asked again, probably sounding a little desperate on verge of annoyance. She sighed quickly and went to get a plug and finally turned on the jets. It took less than 30 seconds to do this. Why why why then make me sit there and refuse to turn it on.... -1 star She quickly finished my manicure but I realized although she evened out my nails on my left hand my right hand had two short nails and three long. So I asked she trim them to be same length on both hands. I've NEVER had to ask a nail tech to make both hands even. Or had anyone leave nails different lengths. -1 star My pedicure was great. I didn't have to say anything or ask for anything. Other than that the salon was quiet. Subtle music playing in the background. No loud people or phones on speaker I was able to close my eyes and relax a bit. Overall it was an okay experience but not anything out of the ordinary. Neutral on recommendation. Pretty blah. It's a nice looking salon. Service was fine overall as far as end result. But that's all. I wouldn't host my bridal party spa day or anything. I don't think they're at that level of service. But with the right management I think they could be. Has potential. But again as of today it's just okay. Your nails get done in a nice quiet salon. They don't rush. And results are what's expected.
