First day - 1 hour into Jagger's opening hours, might not be completely fair time to write the review, but here goes. The burger is very in trend: from the soft brioche bun to the decent quality meat. I like the snack/side selections and yummy milkshakes. I'll have to try the cocktails some other time. The place is decorated as a McD, with the menu signs and trays, I'm not sure how I like that. It works for Tommi's joint to serve their burger/fries in a cheap plastic basket so maybe this will as well. As everything was hectic for the staff when I was there, trying to find out how to take orders, what was in the deals, how to pay etc, I have left them out of the review. The 3 stars are for a good decent burger/fries - nothing groundbreaking but definitely worth a visit. read more

This is hands down one of the best burgers I've eaten in cph, and I've had my share of burgers throughout the years. Located on Istedgade, they have both in- and outdoor seating. You get to enjoy your meal on benches in a chill environment. I don't know if there was anything wrong with the ventilation the day I chose to drop by, or it is just a problem in general. But something was not working, making the entire inside unbearable to sit in because of the heat. And I would like to mentioned I was there around 8pm. Food was awesome. Burgers are small compared to every other place, but quality and flavor will quickly distract your mind from it. I ordered a set menu, cheeseburger, fries, dip, 1 piece of fried chicken and a vanilla milkshake (brings all the boys to the yard ;p ). Everything was delicious, though the chicken could be seasoned a little more. Other than that I was pretty satisfied. There are different sauces on the table to add on your burger, or fires. A big sink in the corner to wash up after your greasy affairs, and a whole wall dedicated to a green board where everyone are welcome to draw with the chalk provided. I ordered, and sat down to eat while my friend Benjamin sat across from me talking about the British voting system. Joy was had. I sank my teeth into the burger and we high-fived because it was so good. The cheese melted in a succulent hybrid with the beef and it was soft as lamb and good as a dream. The fries were good. You know, good. Normal fries. I was still swooning over the burger. But they needed some mayo. Yeah, I'm not really a fries person. Mayo must be placed upon each and every one. I cannot see what the fuss is all about. The only reason why I did not give it one star, is because is was not disgusting. The burger - small !! Did not taste of much. I could not taste the few pickles that was in it. In my opinion, if you want to make a simple burger that only has beef, cheese and pickles in it, the beef and the few ingredients needs to be very tasty and delicious. They were not. And lastly, I like a sweet bun that has been toasted in butter, but not as much as this. The lower bun was almost wet from butter. The Fries - the were fine. They are thin and my personal preference is thicker fries. So thats just a matter of taste. The menu includes burger, soda and fries. It was a little weird and annoying that mayo costs 9 kr. extra, why not include this i the price? Seems that very few people eat fries without mayo. The mayo - It was for me not a good mayo! Really not. Again very little taste to it, so seemed just like eating pure fat. My boyfriends got the chipotle mayo, and I really did not like that as well. The free sauces were not my taste either, the honey-tabasco had a weird taste and texture. As you can read from this review, I was very disappointed. Delicious fast food dishes, good indoor & outdoor seating, and fast. I've tried their milkshakes, fried chicken, burger and fries. I wouldn't come back for their milkshakes, but I'll definitely be back for the fried chicken and fries. I want to try their wings next time. There is plenty of seating both indoor and out. This coupled with the speedy service makes it a great weekday lunch spot where you can be in and out in 40 minutes. A great option when you're craving fast food done well. read more

Hands down the best American burger in Copenhagen. Jagger's cheeseburger is what I wanted and expected from popular places like Tommi's burger joint. It's a burger where you can actually taste the cheese and the meat, where those two ingredients stand out and carry the burger on their own. The hush puppies are great, the mac and cheese and Caesar salad a little bland and the fries are fine. Honestly, Jagger is everything I wanted it to be. Jagger serves the best burger in Copenhagen, no small feat in a city with lots of competition for that distinction. The fresh baked brioche buns are particularly inspired. If you're hungry, consider getting two burgers. Although I would always opt for two regular burgers, the pulled pork burger is also a great option. read more
