Uhh.. is this the right place? I have heard that this is one of the best burger joints in Copenhagen but all I see is some dudes who want to DJ and design and maybe flip some burgers in their spare time. When it was my turn to order, I was a little annoyed that the cashier thought it was more urgent to change the song before helping me. We got the Yoburger Double Bacon menu (119 dkk) and a lone Yo Bacon N' Avocado burger (99 dkk) and I went outside to wait since it was warm. After a while the guy who ordered before me received his bag and left. Then another guy who was in line behind me seemed to be leaving with his order. I thought that was odd, so I went back inside to ask about it. Instead of addressing me, they asked each other "did she order?" I'm right here, boys. They were apologetic enough but apparently the entire transaction was forgotten and they fired up the burgers immediately. They brought out my bag quickly enough but it felt a little light. It's two burgers, right? "Oh! The next one is coming." I reminded them that it was bacon and avocado and he confirmed. But when we opened up the boxes, it seemed that both were double burgers with fries and the one with avocado didn't have bacon. I know I got more than my moneys worth but that was not what I ordered. The burger tasted good enough but it was extremely messy with grease and juice. I am into messy burgers but this one had a little too much.. fluid for me. The bag doesn't lie! Take plenty of napkins, don't take the burger out of the paper (just fold it back), and lean forward as you eat. I do have to mention that the crinkle-cut fries were nice and I normally don't like that kind. They were fried enough to be crispy on the outside and salted just enough. I still prefer thin fries but these were good. Yeah, the place and packaging looks hip and it's a good burger, but I'd rather go elsewhere for better service and music that isn't so obnoxious and loud. The burger place Copenhagen didn't know it needed - it's not like we have a shortage of good burger spots here, but rather than being just another place to get your burger fix, Yoburger manages to stand out. Brand new and really tiny, Yoburger is more of a takeaway place than a dining-in establishment. There are bar stools along a the walls, so you get eat there, too, but spots are limited. Bonus points for the prime location and the pink logo! I am a huge fan of places that know what they're good at and stick to that. Yoburger's menu is very small - the Yoburger (single or double) or the Yoportobello. Both are no-frills burgers with either one or two meat patties or a panko-fried portobello mushroom in a brioche bun (LOVE!) with American cheese, a slice of tomato, a bit of lettuce, and the secret "magic sauce". This burger will get your hands dirty, just as I like it, and it's served in a little basket with wavy fries and more secret sauce to dip. Even though I tried to inquire about the sauce, all I got was that it contains "a little bit of everything", including onions and pickles. All I know is it's really damn good! They'll offer some add-ons like homemade pickles, onions, egg, and avocado in the future. The price for a menu with fries and soda is 89kr (109kr if you choose a double burger), so that's a reaaaally good offer. Go here for a great, classic burger + fries! Tried this place for the first time when Yelp had a weekly check-in offer for their YoBurger menu (69kr: burger, fries, drink + 4 sauces). For those who know Shake Shack in the US, this place definitely reminded me of their food. So far I think this is my favorite burger place in Copenhagen. Just good, quality burger and fries. The YoBurger menu is super filling, so be prepared. Their Nørregade spot is pretty small, only a few seats inside and a bench outside. Most people that ordered while we were there got their food to-go. There was a constant flow of people during the weekday lunch time but somehow the only (yes, only one!) guy behind the counter was able to make all the food to order. Needless to say our food was very fresh and hot. Great meal, will definitely be back on a day where I need some delicious comfort food. read more

Three or four stars? That's a hard choice, but I decided to give it a three because of the following - Bad fries. Crinkle cuts? Come on, we all know that crinkle cuts won't come out crispy and it's rather obvious that you might use frozen fries? I'm more of fries connoisseur than burger expert so I want my fries good. - 89kr for the whole thing (fries + soda) is probably not a bad price, but I want to buy only burger + fries without the soda (I don't drink soda) and the guy behind the counter said that it would be so much expensive if I bought them separately. Thanks for the tips man, but I don't drink soda, so I end up sulkily carrying a can of cola home because I didn't want to pay more #firstworldproblems indeed. I have had burgers with cheaper offer at Hache and Grillen (for lunch) and although they don't come with soda, they are better. Ok, now for the positive side: - Burger is good. It's no frills or gourmet ones that you probably might find in the numerous burger joints in Copenhagen. It's the old good simple burger. Meat is tender and nice. Was excited to try this place after hearing about the reviews, but ended up with an experience where the staff forgot our order, was more concerned about what music to play and then served half our order (how?) and eventually got the rest to us. The burger itself was an absolute mess. Not a good-messy-burger-mess, but a burger completely drenched in a pool of grease and tasting as poorly as it looked. The fries were nothing special, but ended up being the only good part of the meal. To finish things off, the "food" served actually made me violently sick 10 minutes later. Hi-class Burgers. The definite go-to spot if you're downtown and have a craving for a decent well-made burger with good meat and fresh ingredients. If you're a group of more than 2 people I recommend taking the burger to go. I tried: Bacon Cheese-Burger Well-made, tasty, crispy lettuce. All in all a well-made tasting burger. Is it the best in town? Tommi's in Kødbyen is also very good, but in a different way. Its like comparing Coca Cola to Pepsi; they're both great soft drinks in the cola category, but each in its own different way. Yum!!! It was great to find a good burger overseas (coming from the US). Very simple and small place, I got my burger to-go. The guys working were pretty hot so that's also a plus. The sauce that came on the burger seemed to be mayo-based and extremely delicious. I love sauces, and they have extra sauces you can order (for a price). Good burgers, but nothing special. They are also quite heavy and it seemed like they were more heavy than usual. There was something which was too salty, maybe the magic sauce ? Yep. I've found it. The best burger in Copenhagen. Don't go here for the seats, they suck. Don't go here having to pee, there is no bathroom. Don't go here for the music, it's too loud and way too dance-y. Don't go here for the service, they don't like customers. But you'll forget all of that when you sink your teeth into their burger. My heart increased its size when the first bite landed on my tongue, and I became a better person once this burger came into my belly. I have now come to realize that nothing will ever be the same. There is no Paradise for burgers, this is it. Only the elite burgers come here, singing scattering hymns all the way to our mouths. read more

I came here with friends and must say we were very impressed. Although the menu is not extensive and there is not really any seating inside, the prices are quite affordable. It happened to be a nice sunny day so we took our food to go and sat outside in the steps of Vor Frue Kirke. We had the offer that came with a burger, fries and a soda, but switched our burgers for the portobello instead. The fries are delicious and crunchy, and the melted cheese in the portobello burger really hits the spot. Definitely would recommend! read more

Note: opens at 1200. Very nice big juicy burger with excellent french fries. The price is close to that of fast food place down the street, "max" something, but this place is in a category for itself. The burgers and fries are made after you order but the wait was maybe 5 mins. The menu and the place is minimalist and the employees were most likely owners as well or just very dedicated. read more

The burger was good, even almost great. But disorganized staff resulted in 38 min wait for burger and fries. Fries and dip ok, not as good as the burger. Such a shame as the burger was really good. Zero stars if I could... Got the double burger and the both burgers were raw on the inside. If the expression "my burger is still mooing" applies to anything, it was my meal here.
