I've been fortunate to have some very good doctors over the years. At the time of my T1 diagnosis at 20 years of age I was fortunate enough to be treated by Dr. Arnold H. Kadish who is credited with inventing the insulin pump. Well, Kelaita isn't a doctor Kadish who was a medical genius he is nevertheless one of the best doctors that I have ever had. He cares deeply about his patients and invests time and energy to insure the best of outcomes and I have great respect for him.

I was referred to Dr. Krpan by my primary physician. He was not me first choice…read more I meat with Krpan and had discussion about what was going on with my right knee. I injured it about 10yr ago skiing. He introduced me to a different type of procedure called Mako. This particular procedure is a partial knee replacement that was done by robotic assist. Being I only the lateral side of my right knee was injured I only needed replacement of that section, this made sense to me. As he was in full agreement that I was a good candidate for this we agreed and thus the journey began. The surgery was a success and went smoothly. I was home the same day and was starting my recovery. Sadly I was a bit aggressive in my PT I ruptured a small part of my incision that evening. Sadly this has been more issue than the invite replacement. I am blessed as it is healing and no infection. Please if you are hesitant of Dr. Krpan disregard. He is an expert and great bedside manner. He will explain any and all options. Thank you Jennifer, Kathy and all your wonderful staff at the Angels Camp office!

My 88 year old aunt had taken a bad fall at our cabin. She had a pretty bad scrap/cut on her shin…read moreand hit her shoulder as well. My husband who is retired fire/paramedic drove her down to angels camp to this facility since it was the closest one opened. They were waiting over an hour with no one in the waiting area. The PA assessed my aunt for stroke. After noting she had no signs of a stroke, had her nurse clean the wounds. My husband was shocked at what the protocol was. They used water and dabbed. He asked why not use hydrogen peroxide and scrub since she clearly had dirt, clots of blood and flap of skin. He was told they don't use peroxide anymore. They proceeded to put a steri strip on a wound that was about 3" in diameter. Then said the X-ray machine was down and sent them off. My aunt went to her local clinic the next day when she got home. They were shocked at the dressing and what little was done. They did exactly what my husband knew needed to be done, peroxide and a good cleaning. Plus, X-rays of her shoulder and shin. Thankfully she was fine. Very sore, but fine. Pretty crappy treatment, especially on a elderly person.

When I met Lovett, I was very nervous of being turned away again. Dr Lovett doesn't sugar coat things, but that's what I like about him. I want a doctor who is straightforward and is constantly searching for the best way to do things. I knew I wanted him to operate on me after I had my first gel injection. I had heard horror stories, and he had a few of his own, which is what caused him to perfect a better way. I only felt pressure from the gel, it never ever hurt. He kept checking to make sure I was okay. I have had 4 injections to date and NONE of them hurt, I barely felt anything. My experiences with the doctor have continued to be the same. I had the operation, it was a huge success. With every issue and question, I could see his care for me, his experience and his willingness to actually help me. In my experience, you can have a doctor that sugar coats everything and never innovates and who will waste your time by not being honest with you or you can go see Dr Lovett and get the care you really NEED!

Interesting we had them retaken and there it was and the other Doc not a Ortho specialist could see it and casted it and that's that. So I'm sure this thread will go on and on but funny no one seems to like him or his behavior so sad in the medical business and treat people who depend on you as second class citizens. He has a bad case of he thinks he is GOD syndrome.
