I injured it about 10yr ago skiing. He introduced me to a different type of procedure called Mako. This particular procedure is a partial knee replacement that was done by robotic assist. Being I only the lateral side of my right knee was injured I only needed replacement of that section, this made sense to me. As he was in full agreement that I was a good candidate for this we agreed and thus the journey began. The surgery was a success and went smoothly. I was home the same day and was starting my recovery. Sadly I was a bit aggressive in my PT I ruptured a small part of my incision that evening. Sadly this has been more issue than the invite replacement. I am blessed as it is healing and no infection. Please if you are hesitant of Dr. Krpan disregard.
