Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk receptionist/manager, Dayana, who handles all scheduling calls and messages. I am the one who always schedules appointments for my family. Any changes should go through me. However, Dayana contacted my husband directly and changed his appointment without informing me. He doesn't drive, and that day was already hectic for me -- driving back and forth, managing a busy work schedule, and now trying to rearrange everything last minute. To make matters worse, I had an appointment on Monday, July 28 at 5:00 PM. I arrived early at 4:45 PM, only to be told my appointment didn't exist -- or had been moved to a different office, without any proper notice. They sent a text, but I was working and couldn't read it, and no one followed up with a phone call. They said they couldn't accommodate me. It felt like they changed the schedule just to fill a canceled spot, without considering the disruption caused to me and my family. I've always respected their time -- I wish they had shown the same respect to mine. I hope the office reconsiders how appointments and communications are handled, especially for long-time patients.

What an awful experience I had with this office. I had significant work done here: tooth extraction…read moreand a dental bridge. It was supposed to take 6-7 visits but instead took over 15. I felt that some of the appointments were unnecessary. For example, I had impressions done at least 5 times. During one visit, Dr. Mila tried to inject me with anesthesia and I pulled away; I then asked why she was going to inject me, because I was there for impressions. She couldn't tell me why and proceeded with the impression. A bit odd, right? The bridge took 6 months to complete. By the time of my last visit, it was time to do my second cleaning. Dr. Mila took x-rays, left the office and came back 10 minutes later, saying I needed more work done and it would cost $1700 out of pocket. At that point I got up and left. That was 2 years ago. Fast forward to November 2021 and I'm at a new dental office for the first time since Paltac (because I was terrified to go back to a dentist). They took X-rays and examined my teeth -- no work needed. No cavities. All dental work intact. In fact they showed me how to clean my bridge, which I never learned how to do with Paltac. The moral of the story is - go get a second opinion, and if you can find another dentist that's not Dr. Mila - you may be better off.

As you may know, any dentist can do Invisalign, they don't even need to be orthodontist. You want an orthodontist for this, and Dr. Liao is an orthodontist. Even though he went through 4 extra years of training.. he does not charge more than your dentist... but he does it better. Dr Lao gave us the best quote for Invisalign, and did not charge for the evaluation. I live far from his office, so the staff made it convenient to schedule to do a quick pick up our mouth trays when needed. It's worth the trip from the city, or the other direction. I'm a busy guy... and I appreciate that the front office values my time. I don't spend much time in the waiting room, and they process my insurance paperwork fast. My wife is in the home stretch with her treatment and couldn't be happier with her straight white teeth. I've been very hard on my teeth.. I've had 10 different dentists, orthodontists and oral surgeons poke around my mouth, of all different skill levels and they all left their mark. I originally came to Dr Liao because of his reputation as top Invisalign provider. I still use him now that I am finished. I live nowhere near his office, but I realize the value of my teeth and Dr Liao has helped make mine look their best. He is young, well trained and uses the newest techniques.
