He gaslit me every time that I saw him and told me that…read morethere was "no way" that I had endometriosis, but that he'd schedule imaging since I "wouldn't stop bothering him about it". During my ultrasound, the woman at the ultrasound facility told me that I needed to get an MRI of my pelvis because she saw cysts that indicated endometriosis. The PCP at SQ2 viewed the images and told me that I was fine and that nothing was wrong with me. I insisted (again) on the mri. After gaslighting and arguing with me for 15 minutes, he agreed. MRI confirmed endometriosis. Next appointment, he looked at me, smiled, and said "well when you hit menopause you won't have to be in all the pain anymore at least! You can look forward to that! You probably won't have kids though." He then started laughing. After telling this man that I had anorexia, he told me that I was overweight and needed to exercise. Then he said that I had bulemia (I've never made myself throw up). My fiancée went to him when he was sick with a viral illness. The "dr" prescribed him a ton of antibiotics. Literally the opposite of what you do for viral infections. He's the most misogynistic, unprofessional doctor I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. They also overcharged me $50 for my last appointment (3 months ago) and were supposed to send me a check to reimburse me. I moved to California and have called them 5 times over the past 3 months regarding the check. STILL haven't received it. But I did randomly get hit with a $256 bill from them. I called and asked what that was for and the woman has no idea. Stay far away from this place if you care about your health and/or your wallet.

Located in an unassuming strip-plaza, the walk in clinic was neat and clean inside. I checked in with the receptionist who took my information. First off, they do not take any form of health insurance and office visits start at $120. I was desperately ill with a bad stomach flu so the cost didn't matter, getting something to help my symptoms was at the forefront of my mine. After waiting just a few minutes the receptionist showed me back for the dreaded weigh in and then to an exam room. She took my temp and blood-pressure and said the doc would be right in to see me. A few minutes later the doctor came in and examined me. She was friendly and warm, listened to my long list of symptoms, examined me and answered my questions. It was about a 15 minute visit which for a stomach flu I didn't expect more. A RX was called in to my local pharmacy and I was on my way. Now this isn't the place for me for usual doctor visits. But for a walk-in clinic, in a very busy section of Dale Mabry, to go on my lunch break, they get 4 stars. I received good care/patient service with an attentive doctor in a reasonable time frame. I had HMO's long ago, but never one that managed my care so well. This is a very busy bilingual (Spanish) practice staffed by very hardworking & kind individuals. Appointments are necessary unless there's an emergency. The nurse practitioner is my personal favorite. She genuinely cares about patients. She dedicates a great deal of time to speaking w/ each patient about any concerns, fears, goals, etc. On one particular visit when I was the last patient of the day, she was with me for 40 minutes as we tried to figure out what might work to treat severe insomnia. (I try to avoid Rx's.) *On this particular visit, she spent 50 minutes w/ me* The very friendly women here are humorous as well. After shedding 30 lbs in fewer than six weeks, I was assured the office scale must be broken; it was gently requested that I re-weigh:) Thankfully, for them & for me, their scale is in perfect working condition. Why not 5 stars? If you work full time w/ standard hours, you'll have to take time off from your job. The last appointment of the day (M-F) is 4:00 PM. (Why docs don't open & close a little later to be more accommodating to employed patients boggles my mind. Ugh.) There's also a weak link within this office regarding referrals; sometimes getting the staffer to provide one in a timely manner is quite difficult. However, Cindy (front desk receptionist) is amazing-- friendly, proficient, helpful, & can run circles around receptionists everywhere:) Over this past year, the office replaced its hoard of soft chairs (which the elderly & this formerly disabled woman could barely get out of); the lobby is now perfect for those w/ physical disabilities. There's free coffee here, a water cooler, a poetry wall, & a large screened wall TV (set to local news-- not CNN or Fox, thankfully). If the office hours work for your schedule, I highly recommend Dr. Serneels & NP Forbes; they make an excellent team. It's obvious they care about those they treat.
