The spa is in a super nice location where there is a ton of parking available (always a plus!) and was very easy to find. Elexus greeted me and showed me to the room where I got comfy & cozy. The anti aging facial was a variety of things- two washes, a scrub/mask, some red/blue/yellow light therapy, a zappy thing (that sounded scary, but did my skin seriously good), and a suction thing (that also did my skin seriously good), followed by a moisturizer. My skin has literally never looked better- I feel like I have the perfect amount of foundation on my skin- it is glowing naturally. It was a relaxing time, and I am definitely gonna add this into my routine as much as possible.

She handed me the full price of a procedure and smiled at me when it said $20,000 -- as if I did not have the money to. pay it -- insisting that insurance won't cover it, called a necessary procedure cosmetic because of the time it has taken to get it done. I was even told to do my own predetermination. Apparently she does this often with patients whenever there is a complicated patient and does not want to put in the effort. She is known for this. And, although she is Asian, she is the most racist person against people of color. Her name is Regina. Please steer clear of this place. She is nasty and will deliberately misunderstand what you are saying. Also, while you are in the chair undergoing a procedure they actually go to you and make you pay your portion. The procedure stops until you give them your card. These are some bad people. Please be careful. The actual medical staff are wonderful people though. But it's that office manager/receptionist who runs the place who eviscerates you while you are in the most vulnerable position. It was the most humiliating and insulting experience of my life, so unprofessional and cruel. Dentistry is scary enough, to have this on top of it just makes the entire experience horrifying. I don't think I will ever get over what she did. I was completely mortified by her behavior and I cannot believe she is allowed to work there, let alone run the place. Even her staff seemed to despise her. That is not a happy place. Beware.

I switched to him because I didn't enjoy the dental group approach and preferred a consistent team to make me feel more like a patient then a client. It was a great move because each visit here felt like a spa day. After numerous A+ cleaning and inspections (humble brag ) I finally had to get my first filling with him. His work was quickly scheduled (few weeks out) and performed! The care here is always welcoming and efficient. Don't judge a book by the cover (waiting room is a bit dated but clean) you will be handled with great care.

I'm a flight attendant and live in LA but she stated she can still pull my insurance and work things out for me. I'm totally okay with visiting once a month for a checkup/tray change. As I'm waiting for my information to be imputed into the system I notice how clean the office is: No dust, no trash on carpet, pamphlets are stacked nicely on the tables, the family photos are inviting and advertisement displays are well kept. Konikoff Family Dentistry assured me they could help and got me in the next day. I was relieved. What followed felt less like patient care and more like a bait-and-switch. After X-rays, I was told they couldn't actually treat the problem and that I would need to see their specialist -- with an appointment scheduled a MONTH later. A month. For a cracked wisdom tooth causing significant pain. But somehow, despite being unable to address the urgent issue I came in for, there was still time to discuss teeth whitening treatments and tell me I supposedly had multiple cavities that would require extensive work. I left, found another dentist the very next day, had the wisdom tooth removed immediately, and was told there were no cavities or other issues. I understand referrals happen. Specialists exist for a reason. What I do not understand is bringing in a patient in acute pain, failing to meaningfully help them, then pivoting to cosmetic upsells and questionable diagnoses while they're sitting there suffering. If your office cannot provide emergency treatment, be honest about that upfront. Don't tell people in pain you can help, only to turn the visit into a sales opportunity. I would strongly encourage anyone seeking urgent dental care to get a second opinion.
