There truly is a reason this place has 2.3 stars. Let that sink in for a moment.
I came to Morrison in need of a root canal. For one root canal, I had ten visits there. Multiple times I was notified the day before an appointment that they would have to cancel the appointment. Which led my husband to taking time off more than ten times to watch our two kids that were two and under at the time. I have cried at least three times leaving this office due to feeling like I could never escape. The quality of care was painful and often times I was not expecting to be there as long as I was with my mouth pried open because they were constantly covering up or fixing something from the last time someone was in my mouth. They would be playing telephone communication with eachother. I've had dental hygienist feeling uncomfortable to practice. Leading to more dental hygienist coming into the room to fix or support or change whatever they were doing in my mouth.
But the true kicker was when a dentist from the Williamsburg location was subbing in at Hampton, Dr. Marasigan and she discovered after months that there was cotton pellets left in my mouth. I'm sure it's not in any notes but after that visit I was asked to go to her office due to the level of care I was receiving. I looked up what cotton pellets were after that visit and what can come from doing that. It's not good. Which ironically leads to how the tooth next to it that had been root canaled suddenly fell out from infection. Doesn't take much to do the math there. All in this time I have remained respectful and quiet. I have not complained. They sent my final tooth mold for the root canal to the wrong location. When I went to get it put on, they had three different ones of mine that they weren't sure which one to use.
The receptions at this office are mean and disrespectful. They aren't there to serve. They are there to protect the dentist and themselves. They do not care about the patient and their schedules.
This goes for the Williamsburg location. In the two years of going to both locations and trying to figure out my teeth, never once have they been able to get me a tooth cleaning. To prevent further issues. At Williamsburg recently I asked for one to be done with my potential implant process. They said they were unable to schedule any type of teeth cleaning because they're busy. I heard the receptionist there tell the older receptionist one time that when people call for teeth cleaning she doesn't even look at the calendar for that month or the following she just goes out months in advance and if the patient doesn't complain then that's what she does. The receptionists there as well act as if they are not there to provide a service. They act superficial and uninviting. This leads to Williamsburg Implant procedure. I started to go to Williamsburg after all the PTSD of Hampton. And the dentist there is a good dentist. I can tell she is sufficient. But again, went there, got X-rays done for an implant etc. It's a costly procedure, again the receptionist said she'd let me know the pricing confirmed with insurance well in advanced. But because the receptionist are inadequate at their jobs, I got used to calling a couple days in advance when I wouldn't hear anything back about prices for all the things insurance wouldn't pay for. I called on a Friday and they didn't have an answer. Monday I received an email, the day before my appointment that it'd be 993 dollars which is not what the receptionist said it'd be in the initial meeting. She told me the first portion for extraction of it would be free with insurance but again, there is a zero trust with this orginization so I learned to be very diligent. I called since they couldn't even make a phone call to tell me the price and she said, we don't take your insurance after Id been seen there multiple times at this point. Wouldn't apologize, wouldn't explain, wouldn't help me. Just too bad so sad. I'm finding a new dentist I called to have my information sent over, scans etc. they said they couldn't do it. I talked to a manager after the receptionist tried to hang up on me multiple times simply asking for clarification. The Manager said she'd call me back at 2 one day and she never did and never has. On top of all of this, my husband is in the Air Force, working his butt off. Traveling frequently for long periods of time and we don't have friends or family nearby to trust with our babies. My husband works hard so I can stay witn my kids every day and to see how they value time, money and the military people of this area is so sad. We've all gone to dentist our entire lives and for us the luxury of living in multiple locations, I know this is unacceptable. Even their own dentist knew it was unacceptable to have me sent to Williamsburg. read more
