I'll be honest I was a little nervous going in. But the day of the procedure went extremely smoothly. They were on time, well prepared, and professional from start to finish. It's clear that Dr. Kenney has been doing this kind of work for a long time. As far as tooth extractions go especially two side-by-side I don't think it could have been more painless or easier. When it actually came time for my tooth extraction, Dr. Trotter's assistant had me put on sunglasses and I said to her, "okay if I close my eyes?" and Dr. Trotter said "that fine, I'll keep mine open." This was also the first time I elected to only have a local anesthetic so I was a little extra nervous, but Dr. Trotter and his entire staff was wonderful. No one showed me where the "cavities" were or informed me of a treatment plan, just said that I should come back the next day for fillings. When I got a copy of my records, the dentist had written that I needed SIX fillings. I went to get a second opinion from a different dental office the next day and they couldn't find a single cavity. Spencer Dental also made it extremely difficult to get a copy of my x-rays and patient information. And while some workers were nice, others were very rude. Overall, there were a LOT of red flags. I would not trust any diagnosis from this place.

I've been to a few shady dentists who always seem interested in selling me on some expensive procedure I don't really need. Dr. Artzer always lays out my options in plain terms, treating me like an adult who can make decisions about his own teeth. His office has all the equipment you could need. The staff is wonderful! They are incredibly friendly and professional. Every time I go in they make me feel like family. It's pretty rare when a dentist's office can make a standard cleaning something I actually sort of look forward to. I enjoy coming here. I feel like I'm in good hands, which is more important since dental hygiene is the real goal. I held off writing this review until I had a few visits to know for sure, but now I'm positive. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.
