To my surprise (I had my husband with me because I didn't believe the superstition) I had lost too much weight for my dress to be altered or fit me period. This being said, we had to pick out a new wedding dress and I had to watch my calories for the next 6 months until the wedding date. The ladies were incredibly upbeat about me having to pick out a new dress and made sure I was happy that I lost weight for my wedding day. Which was kind of hard considering I had to pay for a whole new dress, but hey, that's a good problem I guess? Anyways, they helped me pick out new accessories and though the dress that I really loved (much more than the previous one I bought) wasn't available in the size in store, they were able to order it and send it to another David's Bridal in Texas for safe keeping until I needed my next alteration. Great employees regardless of my kind of sour attitude!
