I normally don't carry checks and brought one with me and completed it based on the amount she quoted. Once I was done, she asked for more money! Of course, that left me with no way to pay, so I had to mail a second check. This happened twice. 2. I had a question about the strong-dose teeth whitener they sold me but when I asked for a call back to address my question, nobody called. I left a second message, and that also resulted in silence. 3. During one appointment, the dentist went on a rant about "young people" and their poor vocabularies. He continued this critical rant throughout my appointment. It seemed directed at his dental assistant, who was the only "young" person in the room. I was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. Couldn't wait for this appointment to end. 4. The dentist was doing some expensive and extensive work, and it seemed like something wasn't going right. I called the clinic to get assurance about it and the receptionist blew off my concerns. I anticipated that the dentist would call so we could discuss it all, but he didn't. But at my next appointment, he refused to talk to me, did his work, and sent me on my way. 5. When I stopped at the reception desk to pay, the receptionist gave me an amount and I wrote the check, and then she AGAIN corrected the amount as I was about to hand her the check, AGAIN requiring that I mail a second check. 6. As I was writing my check, I heard the dentist, who was around the corner and out of sight, say something derogatory about me. The receptionist looked startled and embarrassed. I changed positions so the dentist could see me and when he did, he didn't apologize but he did say that he thought I had already left! I thought he might reconsider his unprofessional behavior and the impact it had on me. But I never heard from him. 7. The dentist mocked my choice of color for a crown. Although it seems to match most of my teeth perfectly, he criticized me several times. And while he was doing that, he repeatedly tapped my teeth with the end of a non-sterile crown color sample. Who knows where that thing had been. And why did he knock it against my teeth? 8. I've stopped my dental work because this dentist makes me so uncomfortable. I have no idea what is going on at this clinic. I can speculate that the dentist and his staff are incompetent about responding to customer concerns. Maybe they just assume patients shouldn't ask questions and are threatened when they do. I paid thousands of dollars, I paid my bill in full at each appointment or immediately after when the receptionist made errors, I was courteous and trusting and hoped to get quality dental care. I'm a senior citizen and disabled and make an easy target for some people, I suppose. But I wouldn't expect this kind of behavior from professionals at a dental clinic.

Was referred by my regular dentist for biopsies of some white plaque (leukoplakia) in my mouth…read more The biopsy was tolerable, however, one of the stitches fell out by that afternoon, and I was having more pain than could be controlled with tylenol and advil. I left a message about the stitch (which left a hole in the back of my mouth) that wasn't returned for hours, and was then told "not to worry about it - it's common for stitches to fall out." Post procedure pain management was inadequate, and extremely distressing. I would specifically NOT go back to this practice for anything more invasive since they didn't adequately address pain control for this fairly minor (but quite painful) procedure. There was a pretty uncomfortable sense also that this practice is highly focused on money and profitability. Despite the fact that my insurance might cover some of the nearly $700, I had to pay this amount up front. Y'all could have waited to see what my insurance was going to cover, or maybe even just required half of the amount of front. It was cringe-inducing.

When crown became so painful that i cant chew or close my mouth, told i would have to pay out of pocket (again) since my insurance expired. On Friday at 5:15 PM, a nightmare scenario unfolded: my front crown and tooth completely fell out. I was incredibly shaken and embarrassed. The thought of facing the weekend with a gap in my smile was devastating. Thankfully, I called Dr. Weisbrod, and to my immense relief, he squeezed me in at 6:45 PM that same day. With different jobs, come different insurance. And the need to find an in-network dentist. I had a…read morelittle PTSD from a horrible experience a year and half ago, but knew my family needed their check-ups. I read reviews but still reserved judgment. After my first visit, I realized this office is the kindest, most compassionate dental office I've ever been to. Not only is everyone kind from the first second you talk to them to make an appointment, but they do excellent work (I had a cleaning, filling and crown). Super efficient, quick and practically painless! Dr. Isaacson is kind to both patients and staff which impressed me as much as his skill and artistry. Because let's face it. Fashioning crowns, polishing teeth, etc. takes a skilled hand. I also LOVE the way Dr. Isaacson THANKED his dental hygienist (Ashlee) for her excellent work. And she truly is AMAZING! We have found our forever dentist and dental office.
