When we first moved to Klamath Falls, we loved this place. Sadly, it's just not that great anymore. The meat in every dish we tried was bland and pretty tasteless. The service is slow and it takes forever. The tables are always dirty or there's no place to sit. I'm done giving them another chance. They added a $8 tip to my order. So basically they stole from me. I ordered to go and picked up my order. I signed my recept and left. My receipt says $31 and some change. Credit card charges $39 and some change. I went into the store to complain they told me I had to come back in 3 days to verify that the charges were real. This place is amazing! We bought an $8 breakfast burrito and it was huge and loaded with meat and thinly sliced potatoes. I'm from Los Angeles and I've never had a breakfast burrito like this- reasonably priced and delicious! The burrito is not greasy at all and the taste- it was perfectly spiced. Ordered the Oregon burrito, but was pretty disappointed. I thought this would be like a steak and egg burrito, but it was like the egg was a condiment, as this burrito was mostly scalloped and fried potato. The steak was under-seasoned. We stopped in for dinner. The portions at this place are HUGE for the price. The downside is that two out of our three dishes were pretty bland. The rolled chicken tacos tasted like they were out of a frozen bag. The chili verde steak burrito was also pretty bland, but didn't skimp on the steak. The fish burrito was good and that's why I gave this place 4 stars instead of 2 or 3. They have a lot of dishes to choose from and perhaps others are better like the fish burrito. They also have a fixings bar that had some delicious pickled peppers and carrots that made our meals better. New to Klamath Falls so I'm slowly making my way around town to try new places. I found this place looking through yelp reviews and I absolutely loved it!!! I ordered the California burrito and a drink came out to just under $10. The burrito was HUGE!!! There's no way I could of finished the whole thing- I tried because it was so good. The tortilla it comes on is delicious! California burritos come with potatoes inside of them, usually a place will toss in some frys but this place slices potatoes super thin and lightly fry them. Really good place! I definitely recommend it to anyone. Tried both locations. I liked the Washburn location better. read more

A real taqueria literally behind a Taco Bell, you'll want to try this clean pleasant Oasis in Wal Mart land. They open at 7am which was great cause I was waiting for my car to be serviced. Just a couple dedicated breakfast items the huevos rancheros was an easy choice. Corn or flour tortillas was a choice and I wished had just gotten some chips because the eggs are on tortillas anyway. Next time. An almost overly generous wallop of sour cream topped it. Really delicious with the beans and rice, fresh salsa and radishes from the salsa bar. Recommended! read more

Good taco joint in a strip mall by walmart. Jalapeno special burrito was the biggest fat chub I've held in a while. No length but it is one gurthy behemoth. The carne asada could use a touch more seasoning to it but it's a solid go to. Chips had good flavor. Rolled tacos, pretty decent but the chicken itself could also use a touch more seasoning. All in all the salsa bar can usually season up some missing salt. read more

We found this restaurant just before we turned into Del Taco. It's easy to miss since it's in a small strip mall next to Sally's Beauty Supply. I'm so glad we did! It's a true Mexican Taco Shop run be hispanics! Actually it's so much more. Very extensive menu. I had #14. That two beef tacos, rice and refried beans. The tacos were filled with carne Asada steak, not the typical ground beef. The toppings table was very expensive with limes several types of peppers, spiced carrots and more. Service was great. Even though you order at counter, they bring your food to your table. Restaurant was always very clean. read more

All I can remember about this place is that they make sad burritos. Son's bean and cheese burrito wasn't folded properly and the cheese inside wasn't even melted. Even my son didn't like it and he ain't picky. First time in a long time he didn't finish his burrito. Husband's shrimp burrito was tiny and all it had inside was a little bit of shrimp and sauce. I believe in giving chances to restaurants when mistakes are made. Especially now with small businesses struggling to keep the doors open. However, I have given Jalapeno's 2 chances so far. We order the Baja Burrito every time. First problem, we literally had 5 pieces of shrimp which is usually loaded with shrimp. Second problem, the ingredients looked as though they scraped the bottom of the pan, rice was dry, shrimp overcooked, very disappointed. Call me a fool, but we tried one more time, this time, they added lettuce to which is NOT a usual ingredient. I am done. Management/owners need to get it together. This place was just ok. The carne asada was under cooked and had no flavor. what they call fries are actually potato chips. Super disappointed to order carne asada fries and have them come with potato chips that get super soggy underneath all the stuff. Came into town from Bay Area to visit. Gave these guys a try on night two of our trip and I'm glad I did. They say California has the best Mexican food but I've had a lot of Mexican food all over northern/central California and these guys are definitely in my top 5..... maybe even top 3 ever. Stopped in last night for a couple of burritos (Baja & Carne Asada) , both of which were huge and had excellent flavor. Got a side of chips and pico which was good as well.
