I'll start with the salsa and chips. Salsa was basically tomato juice with chopped onions. No heat what so ever. Stale reheated chips. Wife ordered "Street Tacos". Bland and dry chicken. She ate less than 1/2 of one and quit. Waitress picked up the other two, but didn't ask why she didn't eat them. I'm sure she knew why. Didn't ask if there was a problem. Service although lackluster was sufficient. The bartender had one speed. Both my husband and I got margs which were nicely made. Chips and salsa. Crispy chips, salsa watery but tasty just spicy enough for me hubs wanted hotter. Got the app platter while we waited for some take out. Nice choice for us. Light on sour cream d ad o asked for more --up charge not an issue. Everything we got for take out traveled well. Only issue was handicap accessibility. Not sure how they getaway with offering it. Ladies room can not accommodate a walker well let alone a wheel chair. No handicap rails. The back tabes heading to restrooms were obviously used for staff as they were covered with personal items. I never give a 2 but the attitude of the waitstaff was awful. They acted like they were doing us a favor. The grand finale was a bill with extra items added. I've driven past this place so many times, and finally had enough people rave about it to step in for a bite, and I was certainly not disappointed! The vibe is boisterous, but not too loud, and the service is great. The food- perfect! The portions are quite large, especially the guac, but I am not complaining. We had the tacos de asada with steak and tacos al pastor (pork), and both were delicious! They're each enough for an entree, and they come with a side of beans and rice. For dessert, the flan was on point, and not overly sweet. Of course, as others say, the margs are great here, and you can get a small....or a large, and the large is, well quite large! Decided to stop in for lunch to try out their taco Tuesday menu (3 tacos for $7.59) Wow. We started off with excellent margaritas and warm fresh chips and excellent homemade salsa. Your choice of three tacos, four different meats softer hot shelled portions were adequate meat was flavorful and fresh no complaints Service Ted slow but overall a great authentic Mexican experience. They have an extensive menu and I'm dying to go back and try the fajitas. Overall and enjoyable dining experience nothing fancy, but good authentic Mexican food. read more

(Pronounced Ha-lis-co) like Jalapeno. Very cute and clean restaurant. We were very happy with the recommendation to eat here. We were served fresh tortillas and salsa. We shared the Jalisco sampler appetizer platter which was very good. My husband had the Jalisco chimichanga, which was very good. I had the chicken and shrimp fajitas are so good. I couldn't finish it all because of the appetizer platter so I had to take it home. The waitress was kind enough to give me two more tortillas. All the food was excellent. I've lived in California and Mexico City, so did not have high expectations for a Mexican restaurant in the middle of New Hampshire farm country. I was pleasantly surprised at the decor, drink and extensive food menu. A friend and I went for a late lunch on a Sunday, so the place wasn't crowded. We ate indoors, although the restaurant does have outdoor seating available. The staff was courteous, service was prompt. I had the tacos al pastor and my friend had enchiladas suizas. I would tout the food as average (within my expectation)-- I would have enjoyed a little more of a kick to it (though not too spicy). We both had margaritas, which were strong and generous. We are always on a look out for new places to try and because today was Cinco de Mayo, we knew we wanted to stop at a Mexican restaurant. All I can say, this place was awesome! Our waitress was very nice and the entire crew works together, as this place was hoppin'! There was five in our party and we tried their Nacho Supreme with pork - Spot On! Sooo delicious. A couple of us got Chimichangas, another got a steak burrito, another got their Steak n Shrimp and the other tried their steak sub with Fries... Sorry, I can't remember the names of each meal, but trust me, definitely worth the stop. We will be back again, the next time we're out that way!! Oops, almost forgot dessert :)... A few years ago my friend fell through the deck at Jalisco and if I drove past the restaurant I would say "that's where Nick fell through the deck" and never actually go in. Well my wife and I were looking for a new Mexican restaurant and I said "why don't we go to the place Nick fell through the deck at a few years ago". What an amazing decision it was because everything about the place was great. The beef taquitos were to die for and very authentic, the food overall was incredible. The mojito hit the spot. The server was so nice and did such a great job. Jalisco is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the area and I will be supporting this local business in the future. This restaurant was heinous and both an absolute waste of money and a horrid disappointment. First of all, it took about ten minutes for the server to understand what "no cilantro" means, which aptly set the stage for the meal. The mole was okay but cold, and the chimichangas were ok, but the fish tacos were dry and atrocious. The steak fajitas were disgusting, and the meat had that already-chewed mealiness that made it all but inedible. Lucky the four shrimp were fair, although one of them hadn't been cleaned. Also the restaurant forgot guacamole, which would've likely been the highlight of this otherwise pathetic excuse for a meal. We will never eat at this restaurant again and caution anyone to find another restaurant, because you are sure to have your money wasted at this facility. read more

I had a decent experience my first visit, but the second visit was a bit of a disaster. I went with my son and both of us had problems with our meals. I ordered the shrimp and scallop fajitas. The scallops were very cold on the inside (almost uncooked). The dish lacked flavor overall. It was not edible due to the scallops. My son received corn tortillas instead of flour and the waitress dribbled water on him when clearing the table. I was offered only a 10% discount despite not eating the meal and the other issues. It's not about falling down, because it happens. It's how the restaurant responds and that's disappointed. I was hoping for better. read more

On top of that the owner is extremely nice and clearly takes great pride in his establishment. The menu is along the lines of a Margaritas or Tortilla Flat but the food is far superior. This is my go-to place for authentic mexican food in the seacoast region, which is surprising because it's tucked away in farming country (even though it's only 15 minutes from I95). We brought friends visiting from out of state and had a great dinner. My fajita salad came in a crispy shell and was delicious.
