I got a few bids from local companies but it's important to note that 707 Fence bids and uses higher quality lumber than most other companies. At least that's what I found out after comparing the bids. Make sure you compare that if you get other bids Alex and crew built a beautiful fence which I am very pleased with. The gates open and close like precision cabinetry. You'll find that Jen and Alex are very responsive and the team are talented and experienced builders. I gave them a call the following week on Monday, they said they would have it ready by the end of the day. But I did not get anything on Monday. So I called on Tuesday. They said they have the quote and it will be ready to be sent to me in a couple hours. So I waited, and nothing got sent to me. I kept calling them from Wednesday-Friday of that week. NOBODY picked up the phone or even return my calls (I left at least two voicemails)! What a waste of time. Since then, it has been two weeks and I heard nothing from them. No email or phone calls. I heard great things about this company and would like to have them install my fence, but I guess they don't want to work with me. At this point, we decided to move forward with another company who is more responsive with picking up phone calls and also has amazing reviews. I cannot trust this company if I can't even get a quote I want and they won't even pick up my calls. Michael's team arrived promptly, removed the old deck, and built a new frame that is far sounder and protected than the old one. He provided many samples to help us choose the best composite plank and we were very happy with the result. Finally, he did a lot of really nice work on a railing that turned out much nicer than we had imagined. We are very happy with the end result and expect our beautiful new deck to last many years.
