There's not been a time where there were less than 3 on board. Twice I never got my coffee - once I even spoke to the person I ordered it from and they looked at me dubiously. Another time, I had long finished my coffee and had to go back inside and ask where my food was. I then saw it being whipped up. Finally the last time I finally got to the front of the line (more behind me) and the woman decided it was time for her to start making coffees. The quiche guy then came over on his bosses instruction and took my order but didn't know how to run the till. So he took my post-it note away and stuck it on the bench. After a minute, the woman came back and asked me what I wanted. I said I've already ordered. There was parlance in French and finally my eftpos was done. The smoked salmon was not shaved like you'll find in other places it's large chunks of salmon that I'm told is from a local supplier. The amount of avocado you get is insane and everything felt so wholesome. Coffee was also really good - not blow your sock off coffee but definitely above average. Displayed at the front counter a range of fresh salads and sandwiches that I could tell were made in store. I ordered a coffee a while I was waiting the lady behind the counter asked me about my day which turned into a very comfortable conversation. When I was given my beverage, we thanked each other and I walked out the door, feeling I should have bought something else. On the cold and miserable day I visited they had a morning (7:30-9:30am) special of Cheese Toasties for $2.50! Both a bargain and totally appropriate for the weather. The staff were very friendly, patient and I saw staff coming from behind the bar to help people who had difficulty moving or carrying. The kitchen closes at 3pm and the whole cafe at 3:30pm. This was a very friendly little cafe and if I'm in the building again I will definitely be back.

I recommend the Smoked Salmon pizza, an alternate take on the gourmet pizza, or the fried calamari, some of the freshest I have tasted in Brisbane. Prices range from $15-$25 for a main meal. The coffee has always been good. As experienced coffee drinkers understand, it's always handy knowing where you can find a good coffee. The baristas at Caffe Primavera certainly make a great coffee, using Merlo as their supplier. Always a good temperature, and never burnt; exactly what you want out of a coffee.
