The owner of the shop is very kind, genuine and helpful. I really love supporting a small neighborhood shop. The costs can be slightly higher sometimes so they can afford to stay open because they aren't a large corporation. Nonetheless, I feel that the prices here are reasonable. They have some cute gifts that you can give that are thoughtful.

I ordered what was advertised as a new book from them. Instead, what I received from them was a…read morebook completely torn on its inside binding, both in front and in back. When I pointed this out to them, they got very defensive, using all kinds of delaying tactics to avoid confronting the issue. If they had any sense of customer service at all, they would have apologized, then offered to send me either a duplicate copy of the book or refund my money. I think I'll move to Australia…read more We dropped off, on the recommendation of friends, two sets of Tefillin to be checked, and were told that, although the sofer was in Israel, Friday, no problem. Thursday, I checked to see if they'd possibly be ready early. They weren't, but Friday no problem, we were told. Didn't make it back out to Queens on Friday, but late morning Sunday, we were told an hour. Two hours later, again told an hour. I'm beyond livid.
