One of my favorite Publix stores. It has practically everything you need: fresh produce, delicious…read morebakery items, good wine selections, all different kinds of beer, well stocked shelves of various cultures of ethnic foods, fresh flowers, pharmacy, pet food, frozen meals, small toys and birthday cards, popcorn, sodas, and a fantastic deli. I have found the cashiers and staff to be friendly and helpful over the years. Parking is easy on the side of the store, just drive up the ramp to the second floor. The escalator is steps away from the parking lot to take you right down to the inside of the store where the carts are waiting for you. There is also street parking. Next door is Wells Fargo for your convenience. I don't live close by anymore but whenever I'm in the Edgewater area, I like to stop in. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because their prices tend to be on the high side.

Most places just reheat food that has been left over from the night before or that's been pre-cooked earlier. It's fresh and healthy in the sense that the food isn't drowned in oil and cooked entirely from scratch. Once you taste the flavors of the food here you'll be wanting to come back for a second serving. It's a mom and pop's store, so it's privately owned and has no sister/brother restaurant. The lady that works here does it all, she is the host, cook, and busser. She's a very nice lady. I went during dinner time and it was packed, but she got all the orders taken care of. It was about a 20-30 mins wait for my order with about 4-5 people ahead of me. In my opinion it's not a bad wait time considering she's doing everything by herself. She understands some English, but doesn't grasp it immediately when you place the order. Spanish works better for her and you can also called ahead of time and place an order for pick up. I'm a regular customer now and live around the area. I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurant's and eaten almost everything on the menu, but it's really hard to find another place that tastes as good as this one. The pricing for the food here isn't bad at all. It's $18.50 for a jumbo bucket of house fried rice that serves about 4-6 people (depending on how much a person can eat). You must try the house fried rice, crab ragoons, and chicken wings - tastes so goooddd!!! These are my favorites from the restaurant, and the wonton soup is pretty damn tasty too. All her platters on the menu are home made so she doesn't buy anything already pre-made to sell as a meal (walked in a few times to place an order to find her making them from scratch on the table). Definate must go and try, you won't be disappointed.

Now their items may not be very organized or in the same place each time but guess what they are willing to help you find it, so no worries. Their prices are low and the people are so sweet! They are also helpful when you have a question. Most of the employees speak Spanish as well as English. The neighborhood may not look like the gentrified areas but it's never been an issue for me. It's always been safe and pleasant people! The homes around are very cute and one had chickens that I was adoring! They have street parking outside that is free. All in all I will continue to come here every-time I visit!!
