Meh... this was one of those that I was looking for something in particular at another market, couldn't find it, and then remembered this place. I can't tell you how many times I had passed by this place and wondered if I'd ever go in there. I mean, I'm a huge fan of ethnic markets, especially during this pandemic, as they've tended to have products regular markets are out of. I mean, they were selling toilet paper and that's just one example! Going in, I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed. I thought this place would be bigger. Still, no matter. I found what I came for: pão de queijo. Frozen perhaps, but I found it and I'm eternally grateful. In Miami (at least that I know of), there doesn't seem to be a lot of Brazilian markets, as they all seem to conglomerate further north in Boca Raton, so again very grateful. I'm not sure what the norm is for Brazilian markets, but I found this one a bit cold. Not in temperature but in the staff. The man at the cashier seemed very to the point and I have no idea if it's due to these times or if he's just naturally that way. It was a bit off-putting to be honest. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to make it (perhaps with some picanha?). I'll have to return to this place to see if my opinion changes on a second go-around. read more

If I was in the Coral Gables I periodically would pass by this place to get a cheese pastel and maybe some coxinhas. Once I was given a bad palmas something or another one time, it was just too dry and crumbly in my hand, so I threw it in the garbage, but I didn't hold it against them. But I should have used this as a sign and not returned. I haven't been to this place since before the arrival of the canary virus, and I didn't feel like driving to my favorite Brazilian bakery in Boca, Casa do Pão, so I decided while I was in downtown Miami today I was going to shoot over to Coral Gables to get some chicken and cheese coxinhas. Well unfortunately for me, I bought 3 undercooked coxinhas that were also void of any significant cheesy gooeyness that I would find in a well-made coxinha. When I called in to tell them of my issue, the girl who answered the phone all of a sudden couldn't understand "les anglais", and she hung up on me. This why I stick with Casa do Pão in Boca, I've never received bad food or dried crumbly pastries from them, and everything is always consistently fresh & delicious. Casa do Pao always has employees who can speak English there. This is why distance means nothing to me when it comes to getting toe curling fresh food, with pleasant customer service. read more

Brazil Mart - Receipt - Convenience Stores Near Me - Miami, Florida

After spending $70 for two little bags at this store I privately wrote them a review and got a very interesting reply from the store and I'd like to share it here with you: Cashier wouldn't look away from her phone a single minute as she's scanning my purchases. Receipt prints out and she's staring at her phone as I'm looking at her waiting... After a while she finally remembers I'm still there and hands me the receipt as she's staring at her phone. I had to return to get refunded as she charged me for an extra item. Their reply was: "Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. I just checked the camera footage and I saw she was at the phone, but you as well took some time browsing the store, exchanging the frozen coxinha, talking to your friend, looking all over the store like trying to finding anything else. You never looked directly at her to tell her you're done. But anyway sorry for all I convenience caused at your first time at our store and we do record everything that happens. Thank you again for the understanding" To which I replied: I find your reply extremely unprofessional as you're blaming ME for her being on the phone throughout her interactions with a customer. "But you as well", since you checked the cameras, should've seen that when I walked back from exchanging the coxinhas had the cashier person (that was helping me originally) switched. That girl that assumed the position was the entire time on her phone the moment the other customer let me go ahead of him till check out. Maybe if she hadn't been paying attention to something else she wouldn't have over charged me. I'm still SHOCKED that you're capable of talking like that to one of your customers. "Looking all over the store". I'm so sorry I "looked all over the store trying to find anything else" to buy. I will not be making that mistake again and I'll make sure "my friend" doesn't either. I wasn't but I'll be now extending this review to google, yelp and any other sources so others don't make the same mistake I made. "But anyway" as if you're doing me a favor... Tucked away in a little corner of a strip mall, located right off south dixie highway, this Brazilian market doesn't disappoint, they offer a great variety of all brazilian frozen products, meats, and grocery items. They have cafecitos and their traditional finger food, very yummy. They have been there for a long time...and i hope it stays that way for much longer. read more

If you have a party and want to order authentic brasilian appetizers at a good price then this is your place. They all sell sweets all kinds of brasilian candy. Great variety of Brazilian products. Staff is always helpful and accommodating. They are a bit over-priced when taking into account how little it costs with the coin exchange and when compared to other Brazil markets. Plenty of parking! Can't miss it. read more

Extremely Bad Service ! We went there this Past Sunday ! I was so happy to find a Brazilian store with many products ! We bought some cheese for grilling and when we went home we open the packages and they were spoiled ! We understand that even large chains might have spoil items because of storage or transport ! We call them Up to let them know to verify the product ! Guess what the lady did ? She was rude ! She didn't care for the customer ! Small store should take advantage of every customer ! Has a nice selection of brazilian items however it is very very very expensive compared to other brazilian stores. I also bought coxinha, bolinho de queijo and empada de palmito and the empada was terrible. The coxinha and bolinho were ok for $2.50 each. Nice place to go but very pricey. read more

Lots of Brazilian foods to choose from here, from cheese to candy to other staples. Some Brazilian-American friends tell me that some of the prices are kind of high for stuff like special flour for pão de queijo, but considering the location and, probably, the relatively low demand in the area for these kind of items, I think they are pretty fair. I've gotten better ready-made pão de queijo and other treats to go from Xica Maria bakery in Doral, though. read more

The best Brazilian super market I've been to in the downtown, coral gables, brickell, miami beach areas. They have everything. Yummy frozen homemade meal, nail polish, magazines, bikini, home made gourmet sweets, there is parking for free in the back and the service is very friendly. Also they had no problem redeeming my coupon from yelp. I'm surprised they didn't get any reviews here yet! Anyways I recommend this place 100%!! read more

Excellent service! We were greeted by the friendliest attendant ever, Graça. She showed us the store while asking us about our needs. The store has an excellent assortment of goods that people who lived in Brazil will appreciate. On top of that, they have an excellent selection of home made products that we just had to sample on the spot. The owners are also very welcoming, and one quickly feels comfortable shopping at this place. This was a great find. We will be back. read more
