Definitely a favorite place for Jamaican food. It's a fantastic restaurant in an otherwise fast food laden part of town. I typically get either the jerk chicken or the curry chicken. I have yet to try the ox tails, but I've been told by a friend who is a more avid fan of Jamaican food, that the of tails there are tasty. Regardless, either the curry or jerk chicken is fantastic. You get a great amount of meat with your meal. A meal typically comes with rice and peas and cabbage. Sometimes I get a piece of fried bread that I use to sop up the juices. It gets super busy around noon so seating may be difficult to find but I usually get to go so it meets my needs just find. The overall area of Murchisen road is a little sketchy, but the food and the people there are quite welcoming. read more

I ate it because I paid for it. And it's pretty pricey for it to have ZERO flavor at all , no ingredients in the stew just runny gooey bland gravy. The cabbage was horrible , no seasoning no salt . The meat both the chicken and the oxtail was dry and the chicken cuts were a rip off. The oxtail did not fall off the bone. Last night we were in the area so we decided to get food. 2 jerk chicken plates, veggie plate and 2 orders of plantain. I was looking forward to this meal and was very disappointed. I've been here 3 times in the month I've been here. I ordered the Oxtails with rice and peas, a beef patty and a side of fried plantains. I love that I could order a small order of Oxtails instead of getting a huge order. It was delicious all 3 times and the small was just the right size for me. The Beef Patty is also good. I've had just about everything on the menu here and everything is pretty good. It takes a while for your order to be done since it's all cooked to order. The downside is that there's little room to wait so I usually end up waiting in my car until my order is ready. It seems like a lot of people just hang out there but I usually get all my food to go. BLAND. BLAND. BLAAAAAAND. I only knew the different because of the way the meat was cut up. Stew chicken pieces are usually cut up smaller. The jerk chicken tasted like the boiled the chicken then left it in BBQ sauce. It was not seasoned at all. I am so upset. If I would have tasted the food before I drove off I would have threw it away and went somewhere else. Once again. I do not expect the food to taste like authentic Jamaica food but this shit was straight up nasty. This is not a restaurant it's a scam please stay away. Since there are not many JAMAICAN food restaurants in Fayetteville so people have no choice but to go here so they make no attempt to make the food taste anything like Jamaican food. Delicious!! The best in Fayetteville and one of the best I've ever had. Very authentic! And they get a 5 because the owner is very courteous. I remember stopping there for the first time to get a beef patty and they only had one left. She told me I don't want to sell it to you because this is your first visit.
