In terms of acai bowls, Jamba has a classic, simple and delicious acai bowl. In comparison to other acai locations, they keep their acai bowl recipe rather simple which is refreshing. I liked this location because it is rather small and there is convenient 15 minute parking available for its customers.

Woohoo Jamba Juice! Didn't know they were in town until we passed this one. Jamba was a regular stop when we lived in Austin - then we moved here. None of the local ones compared. We got in just before they closed and ordered a Mango-a-gogo & a Protein Berry Workout. Hmmm good stuff, not overly icy perfect for a warm evening. Probably a good thing they're on the opposite side of town from us or we'd be spending a lot of money here...

Açaí bowl and smoothies tasted really good. But it should not take 45 minutes to get 4 smoothies & 1 açaí bowl.

I haven't been here since they moved to the new spot and renamed. Guess it's been quite a while…read more(Waffletopia now). Anyway, I was super excited to try their blue corn waffles. I had to pick between savory and sweet, and the menu is huge with lots of options plus build your own! I went for savory and got it with goat cheese and spinach (built my own). It was delightful. The blue corn is just a tinge sweet so was an interesting mix. The waffle is a decent size but is super filling and dense. I'll have to try some sweet waffles or some different waffle bases next time! That said there are lots of gluten free options as well, so if that's for you, then don't hesitate to come check it out you won't be disappointed. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though in general the place is small-ish and can get crowded during busy times. Parking is also a bit of an adventure, but so is anywhere in that area. The staff is super friendly as well. All in all a great experience and I will be back. I can't believe it took me so long to get here in the first place!

The latte was honestly great--it was super smooth, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of sweetness and cinnamon. Definitely something I would come back for. The waffle, on the other hand, was a bit disappointing. It came out cold, which took away from the overall experience. It had some flavor, especially from the blueberries and the unique blue corn base, but it felt a little flat overall. The butter that came with it was really good though, and once I added it, it definitely helped improve the taste. My friends also ordered waffles, and unfortunately theirs were kind of cold as well and didn't have much flavor either, so it didn't seem like it was just mine. That said, I've been here before and remember everything tasting much better, so I don't think this is their usual standard--this visit just seemed like an off day. Overall, I'd still come back for the latte alone and would give the waffles another shot hoping for a better experience next time.

It's delicious! The service is always great. They have a lot of young kids that work there but they're very attentive and professional. The ambiance is great, especially out on the patio which is my favorite place to sit outside in the summertime. I love the chairs that they have there. My grandmother used to have the same chairs at her house in my childhood.. It gives me good memories of her when I see those chairs. I would definitely recommend the Daily Grind.

Well, the food was once again AMAZING, but our server was horrible!! He spent the whole time he was supposed to be waiting on tables on his phone texting and ignoring the patrons. We did manage to get his attention ONCE to request a change in my drink, but we never received a refill. When he brought the check it took forever to get his attention to pay the bill and when he brought it back he rudely threw it on the table and walked away. His lack of service was appalling after my first visit. Will I go back to The Daily Grind, yes. Yet I will not permit him to wait on my table again. Now, let me tell you what we had for lunch which was so good! My friend had their Mushroom and Swiss Burger with green chile added with a side of fries. The burger was cooked to a medium, as requested, and was juicy. The fries were cooked nice and crispy. My friend said he would order it again. I had the light lunch, 1/2 a curry chicken salad sandwich with 1/2 an Asian salad. My goodness, both were tasty!!

On entering, the restaurant is visually appealing and interior seating looks comfortable. It was also completely full so we opted for patio seating. The weather was beautiful and the patio covered so it was a perfect day for patio dining. You can bring your dog if dining outside, always a nice find. The patio furniture was not comfortable to us. The table had bars on all four sides at just below knee level that did not allow stretching out your legs. Chairs had no padding, not unexpected for patio furniture, but for such an excellent restaurant I'd like better. Our server, Jaz, was prompt, very friendly and checked on us often. Excellent service overall! We ordered a traditional eggs Benedict that comes with smashed potatoes and a pickled kale salad or slaw. The flavors were excellent, the hollandaise sauce seemed to be made fresh as it had a light fresh lemon flavor. The ham excellent as well. The eggs however were overcooked. They were served poached hard. The seasoning was good, but disappointing due to the over cooking. Jaz offered to have more eggs prepared for us, and on another day we might have had the time. The duty manager, Ray, also offered to have them prepared properly, so again, exceptional customer service! Bottom line, we will certainly be back (when we can find parking). It provides a more upscale experience than most of our normal breakfast spots at close to similar prices.

I had a hash skillet with sausage and my daughter had the crab cake Benedict. The food was ok. The poached egg was over cooked and not runny. My skillet was fine but it was not hot. I could even touch the skillet. Our food was not hot. You can see the cheese melted then hardened from sitting. In addition the food was dry. My skillet came with an English muffin with no butter or jelly. I had to ask and they gave me 2 packets of strawberry jelly. I was disappointed they didn't offer or give me any choice. The service was just ok. They were quick to take our order and bring the food but didn't offer to refill our drinks or even water. It cost too much for what you get, mediocre food & service.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly set the stage for what would be an unforgettable meal. The rustic charm of the decor, combined with the lively buzz of happy diners, made it feel like a home away from home. I started with the Shrimp and Grits, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, plump, and juicy, seasoned to perfection with a subtle kick that danced on my taste buds. The grits were creamy and rich, with just the right amount of buttery goodness, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left me wanting more. Next up was the Fried Chicken and Waffle Jr. Plate, a true masterpiece. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, seasoned with a secret blend of spices that elevated it to new heights. The waffle was fluffy and golden, a perfect vessel for soaking up every drop of syrup. While I do wish they used Vermont maple syrup grade A, it was by no means a flaw, it only added to the charm of the dish. The Sweet Tea was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. It was refreshingly sweet, with a hint of lemon that brightened each sip and left a lingering taste of summer. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure every need was met with a smile. Their genuine hospitality added to the overall experience, making me feel like a valued guest. Frank's Chicken and Waffle is a culinary gem in Albuquerque, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal that will delight your senses and warm your soul.
