Not good at all! Went this recent Tuesday evening and they ran out of the most basic ingredients in most of their products. I would be more graceful about it but the store still had more than 2 hours of opening, yet they couldn't provide simple drinks. On top of that the register wasn't very nice about it either. I don't want to be too harsh, the inside of the store could use a face lift, it's not the cleanest environment. My family cannot drink concentrates and I requested an orange c booster with fresh orange juice and was ok if it was a little extra. The team member stated that she didn't have the option to make my smoothies with fresh orange juice. She said I would have to buy a large orange juice if I wanted to make two small smoothies with it. So I'm paying for a large orange juice and two smoothies for just two small smoothies. $50 is ridiculous. Unbelievable. The part that makes me laugh is that I use to be a GM for Jamba and I know there are options for substitutions and I know they are a little extra. Never heard of having to buy a drink separate so they can use that. Terrible service. With the remaining orange juice I paid for she said she as keeping it for herself. I did the refused to give me a receipt for a purchase I was forced to make and they have no explanation as to why they can not provide receipts. Oh nooo. I just went to order a fruit bowl and a smoothie and the only girl and guy working there started arguing, but like very bad. I felt so uncomfortable and was really uncalled for. The girl was upset because she had to wash a dish twice. I was the only customer there at the time. The girl was even looking at how uncomfortable she was making me feel but she could care less. There was only two people working and the two workers could not fulfill the demand of the online orders and the walk in orders. Thus there were 10 walk in orders who were waiting for smoothies while more customers were coming in. This location is being poorly managed. The two workers were working as fast as they could. I feel very concerned for the workers they were panicking trying to fulfill every order and request, clearly customers were irritated to have to wait so long. This all could be fixed with hiring at least 1 more person. Our smoothies weren't even properly blended. This was clearly a hostile work environment for the workers and I plan to report this Jamba location and escalate this issue. read more

Feeling a little disappointed. After my morning work out I walked into my local Jumba juice to purchase a drink. When entering I noticed there was only one other customer besides myself and two workers. I thought to myself this is going to be quick. Well, I walked up to the where you place your order and stood for almost five minutes reviewing the menu while NO ONE greeted me or asked if I was ready to place my order. So I thought did they see me? I said, excuse me...NOOne turned around....I said, okay! I turned around and proceeded to walk out the door. The million dollar question that is always asked, why can't we keep the dollars in the community!? Unfortunately, until you (business owners) PROGRAM-your works that customer service is vital, people will venture elsewhere. Worker waits till both are done before calling the next 5 in. I understand the lockdown has changed routine for now, but common sense and customer service should not be sacrificed. There needs to be better methods, perhaps taking down names of mobile orders so we can do what we came for and pickup without standing in the order line. PS. So, I've read about most of the reviews and can say if anything, I've never had any of the aforementioned negative experiences here. Before I get to my personal experiences, which have now been over 1 year, let me give several examples of what I've seen personally. Recently while going to this location, I personally watched a grown ass man belittle an employee, Marlene, because she made his order how HE wanted it and didn't like it. He was so ignorant that as she was asking him if he wanted something else, he was already yelling profanities and stuff. The guy was already clearly upset about something before he walked in the door and used her as a punching bag for his anger. One of my first visits here, I watched a group of customers harass the staff because they were out of several items; the manager, Maria professionally informed the group what was available and so some in the group ordered things however one in the group tossed a shake back at the workers. Another time, during the height of COVID-19 a customer made it a point to tie race into the fact the location was out of fruits "because they (the workers) take care of their Mexican friends before anyone else", and accused them of being anti-black. Now, onto my experiences, and my son and I visit this location a lot as we go for our pre-workouts. We've experienced nothing but fantastic customer service here-again, we've been going here everyday for about a year since relocating to Compton. Everyone-from Stacy, Salvador, Noel, Reina, Marlene, Ephraim, Maria, Jasmine-and others, including the store manager has been nothing less than outstanding. I've seen several posts about not having signs on not being able to accept over $20 cash bills; there's a note right in front on the register clearly stating this; one thing I've noticed about the negative reviews is it seems few took the time to give the feedback directly to the employees, yet rather come on sites like these and humiliate the workers and store. When they've been out of things, the staff has been gracious to offer the options they DO have available; again, I witnessed a time when a customer went nuclear because the store was out of bananas and watched an employee mention how they cannot "just run across the street to Target" to get fruits because should the fruits be not good and customers get sick, the store would not only be at fault, but since the store has a vendor they get fruits from, it could cause other problems. The customer chose to rant about the store being ran by Mexicans. Absolutely ridiculous....and I'm saying this as a black man. I can say as someone who visits this store twice a day for a year, me and my son, or groups of people I've been with to support this store of all backgrounds have never experienced some of the things mentioned and we've had service provided by Salvador and Stacy; Sal actually took the time to ask my son and I about the gym and thanked us for supporting their store upon seeing us in the gym. As far as Stacy goes (if we're talking about the same person), I don't think I've ever seen her not smiling-as a matter of fact, she, Reina, Maria and Jasmine are the reasons my son and I have the Jamba app because we go there so much and they'd mention the app and for a long time we would just buy our drinks-finally we did download the app lol. They know our specialty drinks by heart and don't disappoint. Ever. They also have provided great options when they're out of things, too. What I'll say is treat yourself and go and check out this location as it's nowhere near as terrible as noted. read more

The acai bowls are not always worth the price you pay. I paid 40 cents more for the bowl with less. Granted i don't know what portions they're supposed to be following but $7.99 for noticibly less product compared to the bowl i paid $7.59 for just seems wrong. The guy made a new batch of acai mixture and poured half of what was made. The girl working made the mango medly bowl, so maybe it was the employee and not the stores standardized portion. Either way this was incredibly disappointing and I left feeling like I got cheated. And as far as the customer service goes, its usually good to great, but tonight was borderline rude and disengageing. This is my all time favorite Jamba .. my drink is always on point and customer service is a A+ It is always clean when I come in and the employees always greet me as I come in almost every day. I have three favorites: Protein Berry Workout , PB love and Mango A Go Go ... they are all done with extra fruit and a boost of Lean Balance and a energy boost. Some peeps might say jamba is to sweet for their liking and you know what I get that. It really depends on what you order, don't think because your walking into a smoothie place with veggies and fruit that everything is healthy on the menu. I think that's we're people get confused on the whole " it's to sweet thing" I have been a Jamba fanatic for about 4 years, especially when I go hard at the gym I have one for breakfast and one for dinner..and believe me with a good workout everyday you will definitely see those pounds drop.. So I go into my local Jamba Juice to show support for the city of Compton. When I get to the counter, and Salvador, whose customer service is the worst, just ignores me for 200 minutes. I asked him can I substitute the fruit for ginger he says "yes but I have to charge you extra just to substitute it. So he looks confused as if I was asking him a foreign question.
