Just bookmarked this to add to our list of favorite local spots! Will definitely be back to try some more açaí bowls here. We love that they have unique bases--tried ube dream (my kid's favorite), coconut dream (because the pink and blue is so instagrammable!) and mango (my favorite and the one I would get again next time). I'm curious to try the traditional açaí flavor next time as well as pandan, and all of them. You can pick and mix as many bases and toppings as you want which is amazing but also hard for indecisive people like me, lol. Luckily they also have pre-made bowls you can pick from! Berry Brand is very similar to Blue Bowl if you are familiar with that. It's kind of like a chipotle of acai bowls where you can choose from a bunch of bases and unique toppings. To be honest, it's really hard to mess up an acai bowl unless you choose fruits that aren't ripe or stale granola/toppings. I honestly don't know what I got because everything was hard to pronounce and comprehend. Waaaay above my reading level. I got a bunch of "this" and a bunch of "that" and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients, and you feel healthy after eating one of the bowls. The lady helping us was great and very patient. I think it was weird how she was completely behind a glass wall so communication was cut off when making the acai bowl. Rather than going down the line and telling them what you want by pointing, you have to tell them at the register and they'll make it for you. This place is located at one of those gentrified food courts and there's also plenty of other restaurants surrounding it. So it might be busy depending on the time of day you come. As for the food, the concept of an açaí bowl is simple, but I've tried other places (in and out of California) and they simply do not compare to Berry Brand. My family thinks so too! I think it has to do with the fresh taste and the variety of options. I like that they provide the most options for base flavors (I.e., açaí, pitaya, mango, pandan, coconut dream and ube dream), they offer different flavored chia and granola, and they have a great selection of toppings (from fresh fruits, nuts, goji berries, syrups). Went here yesterday. I stood in front of the counter for about 3-5minutes waiting to be served. There was a worker behind the glass window that I made eye contact with couple times while I was waiting. Then there was another customer who asked me if I needed anything, so I asked him if this is where I order and he told me that the store is actually closed. So I walked away. First off all, why did the worker just let me stand there the whole time and ignored me. The worker could have easily stepped to the side to let them know that they were already closed. I stumbled upon the "Enclave" this past weekend on a scorcher of a Saturday. Normally, I'd indulge in some Pho or possibly a hot bowl of Ramen but I needed something refreshing because I had just whooped some 14-year-old in table tennis in the courtyard and I had sweat dripping from my brow. I was almost overcome by the euphoric feeling of victory when someone walked by with an Acai bowl that looked like it was hand-delivered from the tropical fruit orchards of Central Florida. Much to my delight, it was actually created just 15 feet to the south at "Berry Brand," a new Acai Bowl "spot" (not a restaurant, not a counter, not a stand, but a spot) inside the sleekly designed food court that is a vibe in its own right. I took the kind cashier's recommendation of the current crowd favorite "Ube Bowl" and was blown away by the combination of Ube (I still don't know exactly what that is), berries, light syrup, and some other stuff that served as an intermediary layer to create the perfect fruit/nut/ube/something else collaboration, similar to the way the Italians put together lasagna in a heavenly way but also very different.
