Never had any issues buying singles, until I came in yesterday. I came in intending to trade some cards for singles, but they didn't have any of the Pokemon singles I wanted. So instead I purchased a Japanese booster box of terastal festival. Was super excited to open these when I got home until I realized upon looking at the first pack that they were fake!! Different color on the yellow of the Pokemon written letters on the box. The "i" character on the top right of the booster box had the white square, but the plastic packs didn't. Some of the text on the back side also didn't match the ones from the original authentic box I have direct from japan. Not to mention the way the cards curved when they opened a pack. Worst part was how the staff handled the issue. Instead of acting shocked and apologetic they were questioning me on how I knew these were fake. They should know!!! If you are selling insanely high priced merch you should know how to do damage control. Not to mention one of the employees opened up a pack and tried to tell me they were real. As if resealed cards don't exist. And before anyone says I could just be coming back with a fake pack and passing it off. I literally bought a second pack in the store and opened it in front of them. These guys are shady. I wouldn't buy from them in my opinion. I posted some pictures of the fakes and real cards. Authentic pics are labeled real in pic. If you don't want people to open the item, you need to display what is inside or have descriptions nearby. Salespeople should not scorn you for trying to figure it out. There are also nicer ways of asking someone not to do something, so that they still want to come back.

We came in looking for a specific speaker, and Chris went to the back to try to find it. After about 10-15 minutes, I'll admit, I thought he might have forgotten about us . Chris came back with an update and explained that the speaker was available but might be in a harder-to-reach area in the back due to the construction going on. He gave us his number and told us to text him in 15-20 minutes while he went back to dig through inventory and find it. Sure enough, about 15 minutes later, Chris had found it. He noticed it was missing the power cord, so instead of simply handing it over as-is, he went and found a power cord to include with it. He then offered to keep the speaker up front with him until we came back for it. When we returned, everything was ready to go. Chris took his time showing us the speaker, explaining everything. The entire time and even after we left, I kept thinking, "They really don't make customer service like this anymore." And yes, I realize saying that makes me sound about 75 years old , but it's true. In this day and age, when someone goes this far above and beyond to help a customer, it deserves to be recognized. I really hope Chris's manager sees this review and gives him the recognition he deserves. Something tells me we weren't just lucky enough to catch Chris on a good day -- this genuinely seems like his standard for how he treats customers.

I was really angry because the service teams didn't believe me at first...until one team tried switching the wiring install an illogical way (from an install perspective) and it worked. Then I happened to find pictures taken before the walls were closed to confirm the original error. Once I had visual proof, they acknowledged the error, made the repairs and gave me a small but acceptable credit. In the end, it was the third team who were the heroes.
