My wife was looking for a new provider and called this office for service. They told her they…read moreaccept our insurance, Delta Dental. Well, they do, but there is a hidden caveat that they never advised us of. They are an Out of Network Provider of Delta Dental. Her treatment was quoted and scheduled without any mention that the practice was out of network for Delta Dental. At no point during multiple conversations--whether with front office staff or the doctor--was this ever disclosed, or even discussed, despite several opportunities to do so. The concern became more serious when I scheduled a service for myself. I got an appointment, during that appointment I had multiple conversations with multiple members of the staff including Dr Lorino himself, about my use of Delta Dental Insurance, at which time not a single person mentioned anything about being out of network. When I got the treatment plan, the numbers didn't make sense to me, so I called the staff later that day for clarification. That's when things got even more confusing. I spoke with the insurance coordinator who could not answer any of my questions related to how much insurance would pay. That lack of clarity prompted me to dig deeper, where I discovered the out-of-network status, directly from Delta Dental themselves on an hour long phone call, the night before my appointment. When I raised this directly with the staff, it was not disputed that the coverage status had not been communicated. They said they try, but they can't speak for who we spoke with. It was at this time that I informed the insurance coordinator that I personally had spoken with her twice and at no time did she disclose this. She agreed. We ultimately requested a fair adjustment for the unexpected costs tied to the lack of disclosure for services already rendered, and that request was declined. Basically Dr Lorino, when approached by his insurance coordinator, chose profits over ethics, and doing the right thing. Given the repeated discussions about insurance prior to treatment and the absence of any clear notification, I felt this should have been handled much more transparently. Because of this experience, I will be pursuing the matter further through Delta Dental's grievance process and other appropriate channels. Interestingly, I reviewed this practice's reviews today after leaving the office and I have found numerous low review scores based on this exact issue. If you are considering this practice, I would say that you need to be cautious about their use of words related to "we accept your insurance". Ask the right questions like "Are you in network"? Also compare pricing with other local Dentists. I have quotes from other offices that are 40% less than what this office charges. Based on this businesses response, I feel the need to call out their lies. "Immediately before your scheduled treatment, while seated in the treatment room and moments before care was to begin, you presented fee comparisons from other dental offices and requested that our office reduce our fees to match those providers." This is an outright lie...I was never seated in your chair and NEVER showed you any quotes from any other providers. Why are you lying? Pull the video feeds from your office. I never went past the waiting room or insurance coordinators desk today. That's an outright lie. I'm stunned that this is where you want to take this. Based on your material facts that you misrepresented here, it looks like you are choosing to escalate this. The fact that you would make up a lie, tells me all I need to know about your practice and your ethics. It's very important to me that the facts of this are clear, therefore I've contacted the BBB with a complaint. I'm moving forward with additional resources as well. I am shocked that you would fabricate such a lie in an effort to protect your reputation online via a review. So he edited his first reply, and now added another claim. This Dentist continues to fabricate lies about what actually happened. He was never presented with quotes from any other dentist. That's an outright lie.....interestingly enough I have the proof, and he does not! Buyer beware.

The entire office appears to run with a level of professionalism, warmth, and efficiency that immediately put me at ease. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and calming, and every member of the staff made a conscious effort to ensure I felt felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. A huge part of my positive experience was Julissa, the dental assistant. Her skill level is exceptional, and her calm, reassuring presence made a world of difference. She explained what was happening in a clear and patient way, checked in frequently to make sure I was comfortable, and handled everything with confidence and precision. It's obvious that Julissa is highly trained and truly cared about my comfort. She has a natural ability that made me feel relaxed during the procedure which, for me, would normally be nerve-racking. Dr. Guak is equally outstanding. Her expertise and attention to detail were immediately evident, and she took the time to thoroughly explain procedures, options, and next steps without ever making me feel rushed. What really sets Dr. Guak apart was her ability to combine top-tier clinical skill with genuine compassion. She has a calm, steady demeanor that instills trust and helps eliminate fear. I felt confident knowing I was in expert hands. Together, Julissa and Dr. Guak make an incredible team. They worked seamlessly, anticipating each other's needs, and create an environment where I felt safe, respected, and completely at ease. What is usually a stressful experience turned into something surprisingly comfortable and reassuring. If you are someone who feels anxious about dental visits I wholeheartedly recommend Ford Signature Dentistry. Their commitment to excellence, patient comfort, and professional skill truly sets them apart. This is a practice where you are treated not just as a patient, but as a person, and that makes all the difference.

This has NOT been the first time I had to wait patiently, the only reason I knew exactly how long this time was because I got there at 10 am and didn't get in a the chair until 11:15. September 13, 2024…read more Surgery date May 3rd 2022 My daughter paid affordable Dentures and Implants in Fort Myers Florida $11,000 for me to have my top teeth pulled and 4 implants put in and have the snap-in denture plus a partial/bridge for my bottom teeth. All the X-rays, scans were done. They knew I had 3 different periodontal surgeries. I was so excited I couldn't believe I was on my way to be able to chew again. Everything went very well and implants put in and I waited for them to heal. 60 to 90 days later (can't remember exactly how long it was) the final pieces of the implants installed and received the snap ons and the final bridge. Had a lot of problems with the bridge and it was never right. Never. Within 90 days one of the implants started hurting and very soon after came out. Was told to keep wearing the snap on and we'd let it heal and put in a new implant. Before it healed another implant failed and came out. Very painful by the way. Keep wearing the snap on I was told (I was concerned in my mind about still wearing the snap on with only 3/4 and now 1/2 of the foundation)but shortly thereafter a 3rd failed and then the last one failed. So now I have no implants and a bridge that has not been fixed so I could wear it without lots of pain. Was told after the 3rd implant failed to wear the temporary top denture I used after initial surgery. I was now very concerned as to what would happen and was told my only option was dentures for my top teeth. I decided to talk to Venetian dental in Venice and was shown after the same X-rays and scans were done that I was never a candidate for implants in my upper or lower teeth as there was not enough bone to support them. Now I'm starting to be angry now and concerned that all they wanted was my $11,000 and was going to hope that the Implants stayed which is what I think really happened. I was never contacted again by affordable Dentures and Implants about making things right. I spent at least six months wondering what I should do should I go back to them and get just the Dentures . Should I get an attorney or what I should do? Finally when I couldn't stand the pain and having no teeth that fit anymore, I called them for my records now mind you I live 40 miles north of Fort Myers in Port Charlotte. I told them I would be down for my records. They told me they closed at four. Got into some traffic on the way down and didn't get there till 10 after four at what time they told me I had to come back another time because they were closed couldn't give them to me now and they were right there. I told them I had asked for them and they were waiting for me And they would not budge on making me drive 40 miles again so I just started beating on the door and they finally came and handed me my records Now if that's a place that actually cares about you or cares about anybody I'm sure they don't. Now they won't talk to me won't fix my teeth won't do anything, and I can't even make an appointment because I beat on their door. I'm 70 years old and feel completely taken advantage of by Affordable Dentures and Implants. They have shown me that they are an assembly line. They will not contact you. They will not make things right. Please don't let this happen to you. Bruce Stoner 805-459-9974 September 13, 2024 PS. Attorneys tell me it has to be a catastrophic injury in dental work and something that can't be fixed. Well, I'm on a fixed income and will never have enough money to get things fixed
