I was on Percocet for over 30 years for a spinal disease called DISH and multiple herniations over…read morethat time. The day I go on vacation was the day I was supposed to pick up my monthly Percocet but my flight left earlier than the pharmacy was open so I tried to get Turok to send me my meds to where I was going. I had multiple problems getting that done so I came home in alot of pain and extreme stiffness. His office then sent a much smaller dose and smaller quantity of my medication and I kept asking why and all I got was Dr Turok leaving nasty messages. Then I receive a letter that starting Jan 1st 2023, his office was no longer prescribing opiods and left me with NOTHING to hold me over AND still no reason why he, for the 1st time ever reduced my meds without reason! I now find out he lied to me, that letter was a complete lie and he has been prescribing opiods without interruption! STILL NO EXPLANATION and now he has blackballed me as no other pain mgt doctor will give me what I need, give me any opiods at all and some won't even see me!!! I not only have advanced DISH but now need a 4 level fusion in my neck, have Shmorl nodes eating away my lumbar spine and this POS doctor could care less! On top of that, he talked me into getting Testosterone implanted in me last year without any care that my BP spiked so high that I almost stroked out and refused to take any responsibility. Moreover, I found out after the fact that when I thought I was getting epidurals for my neck and back, they were either trigger point injections or nerve blocks. As others have pointed out, Turok is nice when you're giving him the high priced injections and other treatments that he can make the most money but if you mainly need pain meds to function and you cause any issue on getting your meds, he'll shut you down and lie his ass off! Avoid this POS! It's too bad I couldn't give a 0 Stars.

This is the worst doctor I seen so far. Very arrogant!…read more What a waste of time! This is the worst doctor I seen so far. I have dizziness and can't function normally He did not even tested me on the visit, just briefly looked at the eyes and said follow the pen Said the the tests will be performed by the stuff in the office but not him!!!! And as per the office stuff the test can't be scheduled before 2 weeks from the office visit as insurance not going to cover it!!! What a Joke ! Called the insurance and they told me it is not true!! Stuff and doctor is very unprofessional! Turok said that his physical therapist can do vestibular therapy but apparently he was not trained to do it at all ( as he told me himself) Wanted me to do the ultrasound if the arteries but there person only comes one time a month Asked him to give me the RX to see another ultrasound office- refuses to do so I would stay away from this office Going to complain about this doctor:(

5 stars isn't enough for Dr. Joshua Hasbani and his secretary Sue. Dr. Hasbani is a terrific doctor…read moreand absolutely brilliant. I came in struggling with migraines that ran my life, and since starting with him I've gotten my life back. He actually listens, explains everything clearly, and his treatment plan helped me tremendously. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. And Sue is the heart of that office. She's kind, organized, and somehow always manages to make you feel like you're the only patient they have. Getting appointments is easy, she's compassionate, and she keeps everything running smoothly. I owe Dr. Hasbani and Sue so much. Before I found Dr. Hasbani, migraines controlled my days. He's a terrific doctor -- brilliant, patient, and kind. He took me seriously and helped me tremendously. I finally feel like myself again. If you need a neurologist, don't even think twice. Dr. Hasbani and Sue are the dream team. I can't recommend them highly enough!

This review is on his association Dr Joshua Hisbani. Telephone number 203-562-8071…read more I went to him in his branford office. He was very thorough and found issues that my orthopedic doctor did not pick up. My problem was not in neurology. It was Orthopedic and he told me what my problem was, and how to correct it. It was a little problem getting in contact with the office; but when I did , I got an appointment in a couple of days . I would recommend him highly.

The doctors are phenomenal. I have been seeing Amanda for a year after she diagnosed occipital…read moreneuralgia and she's been incredible. However the desk staff is horrendous. I recently had to call and move an appointment (after they moved a different one of mine) and they had only 2 other times available for over a month (unfortunately both of which I am at work in another state). The front desk person was argumentative and rude when I told her I was frustrated with the lack of flexibility (and just wanted it noted so doctors were aware)--especially since they had pushed my other appointment out which left me with a longer gap. She instead continued to argue with me that they weren't inflexible and had availability, it just didn't work for me. (Again 2 options in over a month isn't super flexible but that's fine, I know they are busy it was just my opinion ). When I told her I didn't want to argue I just wanted to confirm next steps and share that I was frustrated for it to be noted, she hung up.

I am never going to another neuro. LPN Amanda is great, being treated for migraines, pinched nerves and spinal pain. My other drs said they would only be able to treat me via spinal blocks. We'll that is not true. This office is very knowledgeable of all new treatments and will help.

I feel that I should update my review from a few years ago. I also suffered a chronic pain…read morecondition for over a decade that no physicians from any specialty in 5 states had been able to diagnose. I decided to pay out of pocket to come here again, figuring that if they could help my friend perhaps they could offer some new direction or ideas for me to pursue. Dr. Zagar figured me out in a single visit. I followed up on his idea with my team of physicians and I was diagnosed with a rare syndrome, the treatment for which has me experiencing less daily pain than I have in 15 years. I had seen other neurologists before and no one had a clue. I have to say that I think Dr. Zagar is some kind of diagnostic wizard. I don't know what anyone else's experience may be, but the stories I've told here are real. This clinic has been life changing for me.

Micah forgot gloves, forgot to sterilize the area before using a needle more than once and I now have permanent numbness from the damage she did. Dr. Zadar did not care at all about the neurological damage notified by their RN as a result of their lack of training. He also did not care about me as a patient and my health. Others caused damage in my arms and hands blowing out veins, fishing around inside for a vein, and causing horrible bruises. There is never an issue when I donate blood regularly and always an issue when visiting here.
