Just attended an impressive production of "It's A Wonderful Life" performed in the style of a radio…read moreshow, with actors playing multiple roles and a small team supporting them with expert organ music and sound effects. This created a performance-within-a-performance that was unique and fun for all. The actors were especially high quality, with my favorite being the radio show announcer, who himself performed several parts with crisp and distinctive voices. The theater itself is small and inviting, with a lounge offering light refreshments and wine before and between acts. Actors entered the crowd before and after the show to welcome people and thank them for coming, which I found especially charming and heartfelt. We recently moved to the area and will enjoy visiting them again.

My experience was cathartic and deep. It opened doors to me and inspired me to keep a journal (which sits right on my djembe!). I took an intensive djembe workshop, and was thrilled with how much I accomplished by the end. Sadly, this was Zorina's last in the bay area before her move north. She was born on Kauai and has lived in the area for sometime. I had a lot of laughs with this sweet lady. Their ice cream and lavender-lemonade is another treat.
