And with my "girl-hands" the strings were nicely set against the fretboard, making the fit more comfortable. I believe I also got a great deal, as it was "used" but had no signs of use or abuse. Like NEW!!! The owner had the patience of a Saint. He delivered quick, honest answers to my inquiries. This time he spent most of the time playing chords and snippets, and very little time tuning, and then only some of the unisons. After a short time -- around a half-hour-- he was ready to go! I let him know I wasn't happy with the still very out of tune piano, but paid him anyway. I have now had another tuner who came and put it right -- for less money as well!

The guitar had been resting in its stand for many years without the attention it deserved. So sad. I have recently been inspired to play again and found that it was difficult to keep the guitar in tune. Just attended an impressive production of "It's A Wonderful Life" performed in the style of a radio…read moreshow, with actors playing multiple roles and a small team supporting them with expert organ music and sound effects. This created a performance-within-a-performance that was unique and fun for all. The actors were especially high quality, with my favorite being the radio show announcer, who himself performed several parts with crisp and distinctive voices. The theater itself is small and inviting, with a lounge offering light refreshments and wine before and between acts. Actors entered the crowd before and after the show to welcome people and thank them for coming, which I found especially charming and heartfelt. We recently moved to the area and will enjoy visiting them again.
