Dont buy from this car lot. They sold me a canadian car and DIDNT disclose. The car only had 33k miles. Iam finding out there is NO manufacturer warranty in US or NO safety Recalls in US. I was smart enough to know when I called to record talking to manager Derek how I WASNT told. Derek said some of the salesman knew they were selling Canadian cars and some didnt know. We bought a new car from here and were left with many false promises. This place seems to be filled with chaos and I have seen many staff members in and out of here off to different companies. First we were given an estimate that apparently did not exist from a salesman (We found this out on the final day of the sale). We were also promised environmental fixes such as scuffs and scratches that were free of charge. Turns out that was just another lie that got us to pay for the Hodge Package! Driving from Dallas Texas I was just outside of Muskogee Oklahoma and my cars battery/alternator light came on, not familiar with the area my husband contacted James Hodges Toyota. Aaron the service manager called with direction and I was able to get my car there. Patrick took my paper work and got the car up on the rack to find the problem. They found oil leaking into the alternator and a leak in the coolant system. The problem was they could not work on my BMW because they did not have the right equipment. But they did offer several solutions to my problem and because it was late said my car could spend the night while my husband and I decided on what to do. My husband went there and spent all day there looking at one truck. He had the option of 2 others but he really didn't want the mileage of it and the truck. He wanted a Toyota Tundra. He brought it by to show me and test drove it. I told him to buy it. He got back to the dealership and they ran our credit without asking and told him we were approved. He said well ok. I was going to buy it anyway. They told my husband to go get the title to the other suv and come back for paperwork and to switch his stuff over into his new truck when he got back. It was used but new to us. The asking price was around 27,000. The General Sales Manager told us 18,600. That's a great deal so we went to sign paperwork. The bumper was about to fall off and it had cosmetic damage to it. We thought that was a fair price for all the damage. The truck was a 2011 Toyota Tundra Oklahoma Edition crew cab. It was a very great price and fair. So we go to sign paperwork to pay off our other SUV and I look at the mileage and it said 88,000. The truck had less than 60,000 miles on it. So I refused to sign it. Then the stock code was wrong. The salesman we had was too new to input stuff into the computer. Come to find out, they had 3 trucks involved! The other 2 he never looked at! On top of that the stock numbers were wrong with those too. The red Ford they tried to get us to sign for had over 100,00 miles on it but the paperwork stated 88,000. We asked to speak to the manager. He refused to come talk. The salesman was about to puke because he had no idea what went wrong. So finally the manager that gave us the price came out to talk to us to day he couldn't honor that price. Well that was a mistake on their part. They told us it was the salemans fault. That's complete crap. Also against the law! All of this is!!! He did not show him the other 2 truck that had the wrong mileage on them and wrong stock codes and wasn't trained yet on the computer. The Sales Manager then said... "that guy isn't smart enough to pull of a bait and switch." We never mentioned that but ya know what. That's what we thought but I never said I word. I'm still pissed out it. Terrible communication. If I had the option to not give a star. I would. To be humiliated in front of the people working there and for the Sales Manager to be rude and call someone that he is over stupid and to be rude is uncalled for. I will never buy a vehicle from them every. They deny the bait and switch and wouldn't honor that price which I understand. People and businesses have to make a living, but take that out of their commission. We shouldn't have to pay for the mistake. I promise you. Whoever reads this it was A BAIT AND SWITCH. I've never been so pissed off. The one time my husband can get what he deserves and this craps happens. So we went to OKC. I want to shop local but when that happened it's hard to trust a dealership. In OKC, they hooked us up and even sent a letter and called. My husband did talk to someone higher up but it's not worth our time. So thanks James Hodge Toyota. We got a better truck for a fantastic price and they even filled our truck up to a full tank before we headed home. Respect is earned, not given. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. I found the vehicle online. I live in Texas and had my Okla family go check it out for me. It passed their inspection and it was a good deal so I decided to buy it. It was all down hill from there. First, I had to deal with an inexperienced salesman who gave me the incorrect information to almost every question that I had. He preferred to text me rather than call me directly, and he sent the wrong forms to be signed. I had to touch base with the sales manager to get the details straight. There was a title issue with my Texas credit union - not their fault, but It's a business transaction, I assume that they are accustomed to small details that need to be hashed out. I was wrong. Then they got tired of me, every time I called I was passed to (what seemed like) every other employee in the building. I asked to speak to the sales manager but they always connected me to someone else. Keep in mind now, I paid full sticker price and processing fees without any bargaining. When I arrived in Okla, I discovered three small issues. The wiper blades were shredded, there were no valve stem caps and there was a small paint chip that was down to the actual metal of the body. I requested new blades and was told (by my salesman) they would provide them at their generous employee discount of $20 each. Then two unnecessary trips for touch up paint (told by two different people - yes we have it , no we don't have it) after asking specifically if I should come at a certain time. The credit union issue was not being settled, and they had no idea that they had not even been paid yet, I had to call and tell them (I actually ended up changing to an Okla credit union for financing to make it easier for them). I made a third trip to the dealer to return the car because I was getting the runaround, and because the staff acted like they could care less. Guess what? I finally got to see the sales manager. He listened to the story of my experience with his staff. He sent the car to the back and had the new wiper blades put on for free (except that I only got two instead of the three, they "forgot" the one on the back windshield) and I negotiated a whopping $100 off the processing fee. I ended up getting the touch up paint from the person that was their website manager - I have no idea how she ended up involved in the mess, but she was wonderful. Today, I got my credit card bill and found that I was charged $500. It was supposed to be the temporary hold $ until I got there to pay for the car. I called and got put on hold for about 4 minutes, they are supposed to call me back.......I'll not hold my breath. I am going to have to dispute the charge on my credit card. All in all it was a ridiculous nightmare, I didn't even describe all of the problems that I had, I wasn't sure that there would be room on this form. Think twice before you do business with this dealership. read more

On August 14, 2018 we took out 2015 Corolla Premium LE into the dealership because of a slight hesitation upon take off. It was put on the computer, did a update. Update didn't solve the transmission problem, needed a new one. We had a extended warranty so it was covered, about a 7 hour job. Transmission approved by warranty, back ordered. Ten days later it was in. Took car back on Thursday August 30. probably to be ready by Saturday. It wasn't. Called Tuesday Sept 4. Didn't get off the lot, check engine light and track light came on. Try again. Picked it up again the next week, discovered the cruise control didn't work now. New neutral switch, needed "probably prying on it caused the problem. Back again after lights came back on. Told there was a solder problem with some switches, corrected. NOT. Back again, beginning 4th week. Shop Foreman the said he spoke to GST and spent the day getting corrosion off pins in switch. Corrosion? New switch. Finally it seems to be FIXED! I would not recommend this dealer for any service more than an oil change. read more

Michael explained (and I further validated via extensive research ), that even while being a good value for the money, the dependability, reliability, and top in class resale value, make the Tundra trucks worth a serious look. Built to fit in between the strength of traditional half ton and three quarter ton, these pickups are very versatile and have a Wide range of trim options. Michael Barnes is Very easy to get along with - listening to your needs and budget and matching you to a rig without the typical pressures sales folk normally use. He's young, but very knowledgeable and committed, especially on follow up. Quick to respond to texts, calls and emails. Give him a call. This is the first Yelp review I've ever felt compelled to write, but I feel strongly that this might save someone some trouble in the future. I purchased a car back in December. While I was agreeing to purchase the car, the service was great! After learning that the bank didn't approve the initial finance agreement, I was required to sign more paperwork. I contacted the dealership four times in hopes to get through to someone. I purchased the car back in my hometown, so it isn't easy to travel back and forth to the dealership. Getting someone to take a phone call or call you back is literally a nightmare. Then when you do reach them, they make excuses. I get that the end of the year is a busy time for car salesmen, but take some responsibility for the sorry service you provided. This isn't a loaf of bread I bought. It's a car. Anyways, after contacting them multiple times they overnighted paperwork. So my faith was restored, then my tag expired before the title was mailed to me. It took another multiple calls, texts, and a trip to the dealership to get a new paper tag. They swore that they sent me a new paper tag in the mail. The paperwork made it to my house just fine, but I never received the new paper tag. I get it. People are humans, they make mistakes. Taking responsibility for those errors and not laughing it off would be the way to keep a happy customer. The car had me sold, Toyota, the service did not. read more

they will give you the run around once you buy the car plus i went threw pretty much as the person R.T 8/22/2015 YOU HAVE TO WALK THROUGH THE WHOLE CAR. with what it says it has on it. have the paper and check it off. mind was the dvd and navigation system. well this is what happen to me. first i think i had the same inexperience salesman. told me they had the car when i call. got there and the car was on the rack up high for tires. so i look up to see in it. it was clean i ask about 3 things i had read was on it. backup camera navigation system and dvd. they said it didn't have a dvd. so i started asking the tech about how much one would cost. and he told me about some. then i didn't tack the car home that night i took a loaner home. that night i look it up and it showed rear dvd and navigate system. i talk to the person on the computer chat and ask him if he see it and he said yes. then the next day they said they would put one in and could i pay 400.00 i sad no (friday) they borrow me the car and said monday the dvd people would pick up the car. and bring it back to me. the one they put in blocks my review mirror. took it was put in because the rubber on the window was hanging down. and i couldn't see out my back window. they said they was told to put a dvd in that all. so now if it legal. i don't have the papers on it and i don't have the paper showing all the things on the car. when you call they said they will check it out and get back with you but don't get a call. then i wanted to speak to james hodge never got a call back. oh i live in tulsa and they in muskogee. 50 miles.I am 60 so they though it would be easy to take. i work customer service at a casino and you always wanted your customer to come back. they don't care if you come back they got you. so next. i still want to talk to JAMES HODGE.
