Very disappointing customer service experience. I have emailed this company six times since Saturday regarding an order issue and have yet to receive a response from a live person. The automated AI system repeatedly states that someone will contact you, but that never happened in my case. The issue is simple: before payment, my order showed one item configuration. After payment was processed, the order confirmation reflected something different. I immediately reached out multiple times seeking clarification and assistance, yet no one responded. What is most frustrating is that I am not a first-time customer. I have spent a significant amount of money with this company and have purchased numerous items for myself, friends, and family. Loyal customers deserve better communication and support. The jewelry may be appealing, but when a problem arises, customer service appears to be nonexistent. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE. You cannot return anything that you do not like or does not fit. They advertise 30 -day return policy but when you try to return, you are told you cannot get your money back. So, what do you do with a credit if there is nothing else on the site you want to try or if you ordered multiple sizes to find the right one? According to them you are out of luck, sorry if that wasn't clear. What on-line business doesn't allow you to try out different styles of sizes? In addition, the 30 day return window is from the date order was placed, not when received. My order was delayed over and over. And finally, the customer service is very poor. No phone number. Only Chat. I sat on hold for 20 minutes. Once I got a live person, they only reiterated the policy and then moved on to the next customer. I received my order which were gifts and needed to do an exchange. For the exchange, I selected items for myself. One of the items was an engraved initial oval ring. I received the ring with no engraving, The support team kept stating they did not receive the order with the request to engrave it, eventhough I provided my confirmation email which stated I did. After the 3rd email exchange, the company stated that sometimes they don't receive the details if there's an exchange made through the system. They finally agreed to store credit eventhough I specifically wanted to return it for a refund as the ring was blank with no engraving. I'll never shop or recommend James Michelle again as I have spent a few thousand dollars over the past few years and will not support a company that doesn't believe in their customers. Im giving this company 2 stars due to the customer service and for sending the jewerly in plastic bags. I ordered over $1000 of jewelry for Christmas gifts. I jewerly is not top quality but its good. I didn't receive individual boxes for the necklaces. I didnt opt for the extra 4.00 for gift boxes thinking the jewerly would be in standard velour jewlery bags. I can get past this. However, they basically lied to me when I requested 6 more company cards. They only sent 2 and I have 8 gifts. When I emailed and requested more explaining the situation. The email i recieved back said they were out of cards. I emailed back and said np these are Christmas gifts and I can wait till they get more in stock. The email I got back said they are permanently out of them. However, I received another order I placed a few days later and they added one of the cards they are out of! I am 67 years old and did not see that there are no refunds or exchanges on BEST SELLING ITEMS! I received the chunky cross necklace today and it is too shiny. I tried to call but the phone number is disconnected! I tried CHAT and was told they might be able to work with me but it sure looks doubtful. I reached out to the company because they refuse to publish negative reviews even though I included pictures of the ring on a mandrel showing it was smaller than what I ordered. When trying to figure out how to get my reviews published, they stated that they would take the ring and have it sized correctly or remade. They did neither and had the ring for over 3 weeks. Stay far away from this company-incompetence and lax customer service reigns supreme. I ordered a Christmas gift for myself in October. I ordered a custom pendant that came on a 18" paperclip chain. When it finally arrived and I opened it on Christmas, I was highly disappointed to find the pendant was sent with a 16" chain and I wasn't able to wear it comfortably. I contacted the company and they got another chain in the mail to me to correct the problem. When it arrived, lo and behold, another 16" chain was sent. You must be kidding. Once again, I had to spend time messaging the company who remained rather silent and limited in their apologies and unwilling to refund the cost of this piece as a goodwill gesture. The 18" chain arrived yesterday. I attempted to put the pendant on the new chain and guess what...the loop and clasp on the end of the chain are larger than the pendants loop so I am unable to remove the pendant from the original chain to put it on the proper length chain. I have reached the end of my patience rope. I have to take the necklaces to a jeweler to fix the problem of a $100 piece of jewelry I ordered for myself in October. Buyer beware!!!!!! read more
