I was told I had compartment syndrome and I might lose my leg and it looks like I was going to there was hardly a pulse they were looking at it and I haven't sat there for 3 days with no one doing anything finally at like 11:00 and 9:00 Dr Diaz came in or called and said he was ready to do surgery because he was going to save my leg. He did surgery he did a fasciotomy which is a horrendous surgery for the patient but the good part is those three giant incisions on my leg weren't even felt by me. But the pain was still there your pain. I sat in the hospital for a month and a half he did two more surgeries the last one he did this last Monday the day I was supposed to get out with the first set of close-up stitches in my leg. Because he did that surgery on Monday and put a half cast on and wrapped it when I was released on Wednesday second I got home I had the wheelchair and I had a walker I thought I'd be in a wheelchair cuz I hadn't been walking for a month and a half and was told that I need physical therapy I had to use a walker because of the living situation took it slow it was hard I was winded but I can walk on it because of his his procedure and how he put the cast on it only can I walk on it because I lost the use of the nerves in my leg I have drop foot that's why I needed this half cast. I was washing my face and hands in my bathroom and I went out to clean up my room because my dad was coming I wanted to look good because it's a room and board that he helped me pay for it and it started cleaning up and I was doing it without the Walker I didn't even realize it. It's like my leg was still there I got and after surgery slipper that I'm wearing but I still use my Walker and I know they're going to put a prosthetic piece or a certain piece on my leg so I can wear a shoe again and I'll be able to walk he saved my leg and I can walk I thought it'd take forever this man is my hero he's a wonderful surgeon he's polite he talked to my parents like he cared and when whatever worked out and it all worked out because of Doctor Diaz he's a wonderful surgeon polite just a wonderful man I want to thank him.

After everything healed up my lower back was killing me. My doctor referred me to Dr. Garcia. He had an x-ray done on my lower back and I found out that I have arthritis in my back. He did a steroid epidermal. Wow, my back feels better, no pain. I didn't realize that my lower back was affecting other things in me like my balance. I have been able to walk the same way I used to walk many years ago. I saw him again and he will be doing the steroid epidermal again. My Story / History... In 2016, I was injured at work. My employer (at the time) contracted with Kaiser for workers compensation (WC) claims so, that's where my initial treatments and programs for recovery began and ultimately ended. After almost four months of ineffective treatment and indecisive decisions with the folks at Kaiser, I hired an attorney who changed my WC provider into the care of Doctor Annu Navani and her Comprehensive Spine & Sports Centers team. Dr. Navani's primary operations (at the time) were conducted in Campbell area of the South Bay. But after almost ten months of driving more than 150 miles round trip for visits and treatment, my prayers were answered when Dr. Navani told me she was opening an office here in the City of Modesto. My first visit in Modesto was on May 31, 2017 and I was impressed. The office is located inside of a business park next to a neighborhood. The area is busy with with lots of traffic and people visiting two hospitals within blocks and an elementary school, a block away. Inside, the office is huge with lots of room and seating for patients awaiting appointments. Treatments that finally WORK! From GO, Dr. Navani worked with me to tackle my pain; to get me some relief and get some of my functions restored. She began by addressing what didn't work while I was in Kaiser's care then, ordered new and innovative ideas like acupuncture and an chiropractor after two epidurals failed to relieve my pain. To her credit, her recommended treatments have worked. Synopsis... Even though I'm not at 100% of where I was in terms of ability and agility before I was injured. With Dr. Navani and her teams help, I'm in a better place of both mind and fitness from whence I came. Dr. Navani has been respectful, kind, professional and patient each time I've talked with her and I'm truly happy with her service and her new location. Cant speak for Reddy. Never seen him but I would think he is the same. They always remember you and know your issue before they see you. none of this "why are you here again?" Dr. Thondapu is quick at what he does and I never feal pain except the first injection to numb which no one can stop that one. I was told that he was the first doctor to bring pain management into Merced. They may have also said Merced County.
